I wrote a lot of text here and then the forum decided to block me, so I wasn't able to post it... thank's for that Proboards - you should not block people that use VPN and think that they are some fake people, what you are doing with me. Sometimes I just don't get it - one day it lets me in and everything's fine, the next day it just decides to block me, so I'm forced to disconnect my VPN to be able to login here... Ok, it had to be a positive text here, but after losing this long text becuse of proboards it just pissed me off... Anyway, thank's to everyone that gave me points in semifinal and final and to everyone that gave me because I know that you loved my song anyway Congratz to Sweden - obvious winner! Sorry for Slovenia and bottom 3, but happy for Netherlands and Austria! Phew, what a relief this is! I felt like I've been cursed, because it's not the first time I'm in top3 in semifinal, but in final... Now I'm in a very unusual situation, so I hope I won't screw up, because this might be the last time I'm in this situation

Time for me to post my reaction as well First of all, I would like to congratulate the winner. I think Sweden made a really good choice, hence my points to them Also congratulations to Latvia for achieving their best result ever, as well as to Luxembourg for qualifying for the first time ever! I was also glad to see Ethiopia and Chile coming close to the TOP 10 (a pity they didn't manage to make it there though). I find some countries underrated of course but I guess this is always going to be the case As for my points, I think Austria deserved them and I don't regret awarding them such high points. In an edition full of NF rejects, originality had to be rewarded and especially if it's such a special song! It's surely great that the song managed to come 8th even See you again in the next edition!

1. The submissions for the WWW Song Contest #53 will open tomorrow, Friday, 21st of April, at 14:00 CET.2. We would also like to inform you about the new system we will introduce:
- There were some countries that missed out this edition. The number of our players keeps increasing and this is really nice but the limit of 51 countries is not removed. This means that some countries will once again miss out next edition! - Countries which have opened a NS for next edition, the TOP 3 of the WWW Song Contest #52, the 2 admins + the 6 countries that voted in this edition's final as members of the Rest of The World jury have secured their place.- The remaining spots will be covered with the same system (first come-first serve) until 48 spots are taken. - Anyone who submits their entry afterwards will have to compete, in order to stay in the edition. There will be a Pre-Qualification Round, where the last ones to submit an entry will compete. (Example: If Tonga, Kiribati, Tuvalu, Lesotho, Djibouti, Gambia and Liberia submit their entries after the first 48 spots are taken, then they will compete in the PQR and the TOP 3 from there will make it to the normal edition).- The Pre-Qualification Round will be really short and the voting there will take just a very few days, so that we don't slow down the contest. The countries that miss out and do not get through will simply not compete in the semi finals. However, they are invited to vote in the Final as members of the Rest of The World Jury, in order to secure their spot for the upcoming edition.- We will announce a deadline once the official WWW Song Contest #53 thread opens. We will stick to that deadline even if we receive more than 51 entries (as I've already said, just the first 48 ones to secure their spot will compete normally. The remaining 3 places will be given after the Pre-Qualification Round). - In case anyone opens a NS after the first 48 spots are taken, they will still take part in the Pre-Qualification Round.

So that means 17/48 are already taken, if everyone of those 17 submit their entry in time... everyone will need to be very fast...

Thanks to everybody who voted The Netherlands to the 6th position, the highest in my time as HoD! Great winner, really deserved. See you all in Sweden! Btw, I hope the next host city will be Umeå, or another city in Sápmi, to honour the Sámi background of the winning entry.

Wow how will I be able to send an entry if I'm on holidays in Austria? :/ Make sure to have an Internet connection at that time and simply send us a link Otherwise, you can send an entry when you're back home if you are back before the deadline and simply take part in the PQR. In case none of these can be applied, you'll simply have to miss the edition

If everyone of those 17 submit their entry in time... everyone will need to be very fast... That's something I'm struggling a lot with... Honestly I miss the times (until #42 or so) when there was a submission time of like 3 weeks.
