^ Something that always helped me with sore throats when I was doing singing lessons constantly was to have boiled water and add a teaspoon of honey to it - stir it in and let the water become warm

My sister has been taken into hospital earlier this evening via ambulance, they say (the paramedics) that it looked like a Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA) or better known as a pre-stroke attack meaning that if we didn't call the ambulance when we did she'd be sitting having a full blown stroke now; with her condition of Dilated Cardiomyopathy (left ventricle of her heart if defective and doesn't circulate blood properly) and after the discussions recently, it seems that the next step forward will be a transplant of the heart in 2013

My god! I hope she'll be okay. I hope for the best for you and your family.

Thank you - we've an update, a confirmation that is wasn't a stroke, but it seems like she has a viral infection again so they've put her on a drip and her Oxygen levels have improved. Never been so relieved in my life! A MASSIVE applause to the NHS tonight, they sent an ambulance to my house within 4 minutes, and my sister has already had a chest x-ray and CT scan in 1 hour 30 minutes! AMAZING WORK !

And what was the government planning to do with the NHS? *sigh*
