Kyrgyzstan confirms Despite the broadcaster's reservations about travelling to a dangerous territory like The Palestinian Territories, Kırgız Respublikasının Koomduk Teleradioberüü Korporatsiyası (KTRK) have decided that Kyrgyzstan will compete. After two consecutive disappointments , KTRK will aim to bring the Kyrgyz Republic back to a good result. In order to do that, KTRK have announced that a former Kyrgyz representative will sing in Palestinian Territories. Check the spoiler to see the entrant:Duet Non Stop! After bringing Kyrgyzstan back with a bang in the 8th edition and the current HoD's first edition, finishing in a very respectable 7th place with "Jurogum Saga", Kyrgyzstan's most attractive couple, made up of Cholpon Talipbek and Maksat "Max" Sadyrbekov, the true power couple of Kyrgyzstan, Non Stop will return to OASC to try and bring another success for Kyrgyzstan! The song will be announced at an unconfirmed laterdate , but what we can say now is that it blends traditional Kyrgyz and Western sounds, and is completely different from their first attempt, and sounds different to anything we have sent before!

DISCLAIMER: I know I didn't win, but I wanted to do some #NorthKoreaPropaganda because I felt like it.
HEROES' WELCOME IN PYONGYANG! NORTH KOREANS REJOICE! Translated from Korean... or was it?
PYONGYANG - Lancifer, Louis Cole, and Miss Kim received a huge welcome as they arrived in Pyongyang for a huge celebration of their VICTORY in the latest edition of Own Asiavision Song Contest. The trio returned from the epic musical competition which was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (also the country where Our Great Leader's half-brother was assassinated). The crowd flooded Pyongyang International Airport as the rapper-producer-singer threesome was hastily escorted into a giant parade float. The parade celebrating their victory was unforgettable. Crowds flocked to Pyongyang's streets waving flags of our country to get a glance at the people who brought North Korea great success.
"It is an honor to perform for the Great Leader," Miss Kim said in brief interview. "I'm so grateful to have been given a voice for my people and my leader." Due to the brief nature of the interview, we were not able to interview Lancifer and Louis Cole. We are certain they are celebrating, too.
Chants of "NORTH KOREA!" and "BEST KOREA!" could be heard throughout the city as the parade continued along the streets. The parade ended in the Rungrado 1st of May Stadium, the world's largest stadium, where citizens were treated to a magnificent concert by our country's best artists featuring Moranbong Band, Chongbong Band, and of course, Lancifer, Louis Cole, and Miss Kim, who concluded the concert with an awesome performance of "Surfin' in the DPRK." Immediately after the performance, Our Great Leader, Kim Jong-Un, stepped onto the stage along with thunderous applause and congratulated the three artists. They were each rewarded with a mansion in one of the country's coastal cities, where they could continue to go surfin in the DPRK.
In other news...
NORTH KOREA YET TO MAKE A DECISION
Usually, the North Korean delegation would be making an early confirmation to participate in the next edition of Own Asiavision Song Contest. However, for unspecified reasons, a decision has yet to be made. Stay tuned in the following weeks for any updates about North Korea. Not sure if I can participate next edition because I'll be inactive in June. We'll see what happens. If I can't participate, North Korea will just be on a break.
