15th - Sad but expected. The final results were very tight so this ended up getting a lot of points. Had they sent "Save Me", San Marino would've finished lower.
8th - Listening to this BOP right now. It's a strong song and I'm glad it did very well here. She gave us some Albanian-language realness and slayed it.
25th - Painful. That drop from last edition is massive. I liked Elena's vocals here, but it failed to live up to the expectations of this strong edition.
2nd - So close! This came close to being the surprise of the edition, but missed out by 7 points. Happy that it got the top 3 result it deserved. Tove Lo
I hope Sweden keeps up the record.
18th - WOW. HARSH. I expected top 10 easily, as it did very well in NVSC, but this hit me like a thunderstorm. Ouch, IMFans, ouch.
5th - This coming 5th just goes to show how strong this edition really was. "Lover" wins easily in other contests, but struggles here. I love Lenny but I'm glad she flopped. It's a very mild flop, however, and Czechia will AQ next edition. Hopefully, the top 10 results will remain.
4th - Yas, queen. This was one of the many winners that infested this edition. Slay me. I'm glad it went this far, knowing I'm a fan of GJan. It's good to know I did what I can to help it through to the top 6.
26th - Deserved, but still quite sad. A mere 10 points from the juries.
7th - How very overrated. Wow. I was surprised when it qualified to the semi-finals... But 7th in the Grand Final? Nothing I'd expect. But Denmark deserves it after trying for so long. So close to AQ. I thought it was gonna win for a minute, there
12th - Really?! I expected Alessia to get to the top 10, but this edition was very strong. Vocals of the edition, easily, though
3rd - Damn, this was a tight race. Deserved top 15 but this is a little high. Glad Belgium dethroned it, but also gave them a few points, that they earned.
16th - It's just a little forgettable. I liked it, but it didn't blow me away. Also, Bulgaria and China both got stuck between Belgium and the UK - And it isn't easy to deal with this draw. The running order wasn't in favor of this one.
24th - I didn't expect much more than that, to be honest. Performing between the winner and the jury's favorite is probably never going to help you.
WINNER - Oh, yes! Yes, yes, yes. This has everything! I really thought they lost the win, but the tight race had an outcome - And it was in favor of the Diables Rouges!
Fun fact: This is the first time that the winner of IMF is younger than the host of IMF.
17th - AW! 17th? That's just sad. Clearly deserved more, and, being a fan favorite, I actually expected it to finish high. The juries and the televotes both underrated it. Every edition has its crimes. Then again, though, there were so many winners in this edition that someone had to be left out. I truly do hope Finland can overcome this series of bad results, and bring the #19-#24 record back
22nd - I liked this. It brought a new cool vibe to the contest! The draw was tough, though, and you could see how Belgium had an impact on all 4 songs that succeeded it. Slovenia were damaged, sadly. Maybe they can build a qualification record starting now, though.
21st - Off the top of my head, I couldn't even quite remember what it was. But I've listened to it once more, and I think it was slightly underrated. Cute singer btw, totally wins IMFT-NTM imo.
19th - wHAT EVEN. Not even going to react. Shame on all of you. Except those who voted for it obviously. The world has no taste. Glad this is becoming a European contest again. This is a masterpiece
9th - Oh ok. Unexpectedly high. Romania is doing AMAZING lately. Keep up the good work, people.
11th - I'm glad my guilty pleasure did well! It's a cool fun song, and got what it deserved. Very happy for Armenia. After the floppy #31-#35 record, they're finally becoming REAL IMF queens.
10th - Ok, I understand that it qualified, but top 10? Seems like an exaggeration to me. I feel like I'm gonna come off as a hater
The song is good, but I'm not feeling it. It finished higher than Singapore, Israel, Ireland, Finland and Iceland... So, considering how strong the edition was, this was placed WAY too high, but the song is ok.
14th - Like, can you NOT pls? This was the most original choice (genre-wise) of the edition and it's CRIMINALLY underrated. This deserved top 10 just like Iceland did.
23rd - QUE. What even. Not my cup of tea, but not even top half? Not even top 15? NOT EVEN TOP 20? Not even NINETY POINTS??? I don't get IMFans, to be perfectly honest. Juries are frustrating me tbh.
20th - This was so soothing. I won't complain about it failing to live up to my expectations when it comes to where it placed on the board, because songs like this are usually not the "big-contests" cup of tea. It really should've done better in my opinion, and grew on me lately, but Top 20 is a very good debut, so I take off my hat for you, Singapore (and the HoD of Singapore). Well played. The song was interesting, so it became one of the only entries that I took time to listen to the full version. It's a 4:08 song, and it's worth every second. GREAT SONG!
6th - Australia, once again, making their mark on the IMF map. Considering their barbaric fave-killing record, this is actually a disappointment for the blue-whites
Well played, fellas. Better luck next time. I guess it isn't overrated, because it would've done better in other contests, but it wasn't the most original choice. Like it nonetheless.
13th - Oh, really? Hmm. At least it did well with both the juries and the televotes. I'm happy IMFans liked it, too.
