 I LOVE THIS, I LOVED THE LUISA-SALVADOR DUET AT THE END I AM ECSTATIC FOR PORTUGAL AND THE PORTUGUESE PEOPLE  I'm going to try and see if I can attend ESC 2018 live, so I might end up seeing some of you there   Deserved second place, congrats xx   I'm so surprised these two are high, and they really shouldn't be if you ask me  I've detested this song since the beginning but I'm not too phased by Belgium getting 4th as strange as it seems  The biggest surprise of the night, really surprised it didn't win the televote   What are you still doing in this contest, only good thing about is that you gave the UK 12  UNDESERVED.   A pleasant surprise that these two ended high, congrats to them   12th is a respectable place so congrats France   I actually cannot put into words how undeserved this is. Why Croatia qualified from the semi final, ley alone finish on the LEFT HAND SIDE OF THE SCOREBOARD is f*cking ridiclous. First time I've ever taken a toilet break from a eurovision song which explains how much I despise this, I don't ever want to hear this song again  WHY IS THIS SO LOW, I am disappointed that this finished BELOW Moldova in the JURY VOTE, like what the hell? Lucie had the best live performance alongside Salvador by far.  0 points from the televote? Undeserved. But where it finished on the table is deserved, good job!   How is this so low omg I'm so surprised All in all, I am really happy with the winner and apart from a few countries whose placings I don't necessarily agree with, a great show in whole. I'm so happy that Portugal has finally won and I'm looking forward to 2018 |

I expected from the Televoting but not from the juries   YAY, not last (at least something). I hoped for at least double digits though 6th..ouch. Expected a fight between and but, dropping out that early in Televoting is hard Whoever voted for this one seriously needs to stop  Why is this one so high? I find nothing special in it... Much better than the semi! didn't expect that either SEMI-FINALS: SF1  LAST?! HOW?! only  from the juries, that is harsh  Would have qualified without televoting   Would have qualified without juries SF2 8th place, better than Belarus and Denmark and 5th in televoting, what do people see in this?!  ouch!  from televoting and 5th place in juries, quite a difference |

About the semis:  missed out by  ... Meh! But at least we're not 11th.   Sorry, but imho completely deserved.  Wow I didn't see them in last place at all.  |

Another year done ... for the next few weeks we'll look at results in depth and rewatch our favourites, enjoy the summer and before you know it we'll know the first chosen artist in November (or October if we're lucky). Thoughts (not on all the countries):  Portugal YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS!!!!!!!!!! OMG A TRUE MASTERPIECE WON EUROVISION!!!!!!! A MASSIVE CONGRATS TO SALVADOR!!!!! Just ... STUNNING!!! Simply MARVELLOUS!!!! TRUE ART, TRUE MUSIC AND TRUE TALENT WON!!!! ^^ HUUUUGE congrats to Portugal!!!! A long and well deserved victory!!!! I'm truly over the moon for them!! ^^  I'll never got the fuss over this one but a congrats on getting 2nd place ... best result yet for Bulgaria. If I were him I'd suggest not taking part in Eurovision if he wants to keep his 100% semi final qualification .  WOW!! I was not expecting 3rd place but ........ oooooooooh YEAH!!!! A family favourite. JUST BRILLIANT!!  Also WOW to a well deserved 7th place!!  I have a challenge for them next year ... all you need to do is have Loreen burp for you and I'm sure another the next victory will be yours.  So ... the EBU continues to butt lick Australia it seems ... at least the public saw sense ...  ,  ,  ,  ,  All UNDERRATED ... but my Top 4 made the Top 10 so I can't complain too much.  Thought it would flop but I'm glad I was wrong because it's so nice!!  Did better than I expected!! Well done to those guys.  OUCH at 0 points from the public  ... not surprised ... still a good result for us but we need to pick our game up!! As for  Italy ... 'Occidentali's Karma' will forever be in my heart but he did BRILLIANTLY!!! Francesco was simply PERFECT!!! He brought the fun, the character, the gorilla and the karma to Kiev and I'm so happy he did well!! x 100 But my second favourite WON and again ... HUGE congrats to Portugal!! ^^ ... on a side note I can't believe some bloke mooned next to Jamala |

My favorite won! Truly deserved it! I'll attend next year for sure! Didn't do it in  Kiev because of potential terrorist attacks from  Russia. Good thing that didn't happened anyway. |

I think i will have heart attack (Good job Portugal) but Lucie! She came 15th? You kidding. These results are worst i have seen (Since 2010) Not high but at least the UK wasn't in the shoes of Germany and Spain this time... |

Me when we only got 2 points from the televote:  I LOVE THESE RESULTS Other than Sweden and Australia placing far too high, I'm VERY happy with how 2017 turned out It would've been nice to see  Belarus do better (I wasted my phone credit voting for it and Portugal lmao) but simply qualifying is basically a win for Belarus. And UK was robbed but I'm not huuuuuugely bothered by it because Portugal winning absolves all of these problems for me I think this is the first time my absolute favourite going into the final won? Salvadorable Amar Pelos Dois I can taste the tears of the bitter YouTube comment section already  Hopefully, between this and Jamala winning, we'll see more non-English songs next year! That's not to say that Bulgaria was bad, because it wasn't. I didn't really like it at first when we only had the lyric video, but his staging was great and his voice was flawless, but it would've been such a predictable winner because 25th in the running order + a strong power ballad that juries normally masturbate to is usually a recipe for success. And I think it was leading the betting odds at one point. Speaking of which, ROFL at Italy flopping  Just cancel OGAE already lolol And MOLDOVA Happy Hey Mamma's Day  I remember when this was a borderline qualifier and I didn't even think it was gonna make it to the final, but I'm so glad to be wrong. It's appropriate that Epic Sax Guy brings about Moldova's best placing Other thoughts: -> I'm so happy  Hungary did well I wasn't sure if the unique style would be embraced but it was  -> Croatia achieving their best result in over a DECADE is hilarious when everyone hated this lmao -> OG3NE *just* missing out on the top 10 was sad but they still did really well! -> I love how Romania is kinda embracing this idea of sending jokey and/or completely over-the-top entries, with It's My Life, Miracle, Moment of Silence and now Yodel It! -> Belgium solidly maintaining their top 10 streak -> Germany was robbed of last place ngl Anyway, it was a great year this year and I'm now SO VERY MUCH looking forward to what Lisbon an as yet undecided host city has to offer!  |

2015: 27th 2016: 26th 2017: 25th ... 2041: --------- I just briefly looked at the detailed results. Levina flopped really hard. Ann Sophie at least was 11th or 12th in many countries. But Levina wasn't even close to getting any points, other than the  points from  Ireland and  Switzerland Iirc only one country placed Ann Sophie on the last place, but Levina was placed last in 7 countries' televotes, plus in multiple jury rankings. It would have been a crystal clear last place, but Manel saved her His scream was hilarious^^ |
