Well it's normal that Spain is first in that video as it was one of the first countries to release the song plus it comes from a succesful program like Operación Triunfo.

Recent Spanish entries have generally become overhyped... by the Spanish people, not really by Europe?

So far I'm actually very surprised by the musical diversity. I was actually expecting another Eurovision 2015, but we're just halfway through the entries and there are already more rock songs then in previous years for example.

I'm very happy that the countries are sending non-English songs and some of them ethnic sounds. I know that it's a competition but in the end what matters is music and it's good to have musical diversity.
