I saw the opportunity for it to not qualify, and in the end, it did happen. Quite surreal to see Azerbaijan get their first non qualification, but at the same time, I hope this makes ITV rethink their choices in the future, because everything about Aisels selection was a mess.
had no hopes for this since the beginning. really sad for Ari himself, but at least he showed himself as a great singer during the night.

MY MAIN FAVOURITE FAILED FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF k bye the performance wasn't the very best but I still would have loved to see this in the finals
song is eh, but happy to see Czech Republic qualify non the less. just shows that the nation that could barely produce a non-bottom 3 worthy song in the past has all the material to do it in these years.
SANDWICHED BETWEEN TWO FAVOURITES AND STILL MANAGES TO DELIVER A FANTASTIC PERFORMANCE AND MAKE IT. fuck this song made me cry after the performance, it was too pure for this world and it was the purest shit ever and I am so happy it qualified. thank you Lithuania for bringing a entry I can love for once
vocals weren't perfect, but the arena seemed to love it, so let me join in on the fun o/ o/ \o \o
what in the hell was that performance fsdkfskdlf. not gonna miss this, but at least that performance left something (a bunch of roses on his back is a few of them)
SNATCHETH I mean I have nothing to say, vocally on point and the performance was lovely, deserved, fantastic, lets go
there were so many points in this performance that I want to rant on (including Zhana sitting. it looked so unprofessional I wanted to scream). at least the ending was rather nice, but a alright qualifier at most.
I mean- do I really have to say anything here. it was a mess, from point a to point b.
not a surprising non qualifier, tho I am still gonna say that this still had a bunch of quality in it. I liked the performance, and her vocals were stunning. shame, I will really miss her

wOAH OKAY I was not expecting this to not qualify. I mean okay her vocals sounded quite weak (with four backing vocalists even) but I thought it would get enough to slip through. It's honestly a shame that this didn't make it, because it's M I L E S better than the rest of the dump they sent through out 2012 to 2017 (minus 2013), and then it got wasted on this
thank GOD she made it. she sang really well, had a great performance, and was definitely deserving of a final ticket. I would have just been super sad if she didn't qualify after wanting to come to Eurovision for so long, ayoo
daMNIT ANOTHER SONG I LOVED THAT DIDN'T MAKE IT. he sang really well, and I did find the performance interesting, but I can see why others wouldn't. damn shame to see their first 100% armenian entry to not make it, ugh.
this. this was easily a worthy finalist, but this semi was just too difficult for them. it's still a competition after all, and songs will get left behind, but it's still a big shame that - just like around 2-3 other songs in this semi - songs with potential are getting left behind like this.
? ? ? ? ? ?  okay then. I am still not the biggest fan of this at all, but the performance was actually quite beautiful, and the snow sequence was s t u n n i n g. I guess a good performance could save a song after all
she did great. alright vocals, but still a wild choreography, and the arena was going wild for all of it. I enjoy it a lot more after the performance, and I can easily see the swedish public 12 this, in all honesty.

overall: a great semi, with a few losses that I still haven't gotten over, but again, it's a competition. stuff like these are bound to happen in the end ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
