Amazing song and decent winner, I'm surprised it did win after the performance took away a lot of its chances imo but I'm not complaining, Israel will surely host a good show next year and Netta is a great person as well
I kinda hoped this would win but 2nd is amazing as well, they had a great performance and Eleni deserves this. I also think Cyprus would struggle to host so maybe 2nd is an ideal place for them
I like the song but I find this highly overrated and I'm glad the TV stopped this from winning
SHOOKETH I really didn't expect us to do this well so 4th is wonderful, really. Finally getting 12 points for the first time since 2010 was also a great experience
beautiful performance, even though the lyrics were distracting. Surprised the juries didn't rank this higher but I'm not a big fan of the song so I'm okay with it
hate the song but the performance was good and I'm happy for the country. Maybe this motivates Slovakia to come back, even though I doubt it
the performance really was not very good, the vocals were a lot worse than during MF and overall this just didn't work for me. I couldn't believe my eyes when the juries voted this 2nd but those 21 points from the TV made me spit lmao
surprised and disappointed this didn't do better in the Televoting but 8th is still a good place so congrats Estonia
this was one of the biggest surprises for me, I expected it to get like 2 points in the TV so when did suddenly got almost 200 I was literally shooketh. I find it kinda overrated but oh well
deserved place I guess, the song isn't top 10 worthy but the performance was one of the best tonight and really elevated it

I am not your toy

First of all, I just want to say how refreshing it is to look at the scoreboard this year. Last year NOBODY would have expected countries like the Czech Republic, Germany, Cyprus and Austria in the Top 10. It's really nice to see that instead of the typical Russia/Ukraine/Azerbaijan/Greece filled top ten.

Now my word vomit on the results:

I'm satisfied with the winner - not happy, but satisfied. Considering at the end of the jury vote we could have had a potential Austria or Sweden victory, Israel is an okay compromise. Congratulations to them for winning but I would have preferred other songs as winners. Bring on the political clusterfuck!
My personal winner of tonight - at the start when they were quite high in the jury vote I genuinely thought Eleni was in with a shot of winning after the jury support, but sadly it slipped away. I would have preferred this over Israel as a winner a million times over but I'm glad they managed to finish so high. Also a massive finger in the face to the racist Greek broadcaster who wouldn't select Eleni because of her Albanian heritage
I don't even dislike this song, but the performance in the semi left so much to be desired so I am absolutely SHOOKETH at how this did so well. Incredibly overrated in my opinion - I mean it's great to see a country like Austria who doesn't always do well to get such an amazing result, but it could've been done with a better song...
Loved this song from the first listen, and I'm really glad it did a lot better than anyone expected. Hopefully this is only onwards and upwards for Germany from here
Was worried after the jury kinda screwed this over but so glad the televote pulled through. Much deserved and a wonderful song
Listening to the song all the way back in November meant I kinda lost interest in the song by the time the contest took place, but I'm so glad that the Czech Republic finally got themselves a really good result. Hopefully they stay in the contest permanently and that this inspires Slovakia to return

Was always gonna be overrated - I'll give credit where it's due and say Sweden had some of the best staging of the night, but Benjamin's vocal wasn't even that great and the song is just so average to me. Being screwed over by the televote is one of my highlights of the show
Estonia was always going to do well and it was thoroughly deserved. Elina should be proud

flagrance The staging and performance was underwhelming and that's what cost France the win, so while I think they deserve a higher finish, a result like this isn't surprising

I feel for Surie after that stage invasion and major props to continue being professional after it, but this result was deserved

ROBBED, does not deserve last but I think a bad draw and being overshadowed by that stage invasion kinda left her as an afterthought


All in all, a MUCH better show than last year, thank you Portugal for putting on a spectacular show and see you all in Israel!

OKKK now time for my reaction, literally I enjoyed tonight so much, and the fact that we even placed in the top 20 is an achievement. I hope RTÉ will continue to up their game now, given that Ireland's qualification is a good sign.

WOAH I am shaking. This song was absolutely amazing to begin with, so glad that Cyprus finally topples their previous best result and come SO close to winning. Would have loved this as the winner too but I'm not complaining! I'm so happy for Eleni, although I bet Greece are shaking now for turning her down sksksksk

Although no matter what, absolutely deserved winner and I saw this coming too. Splendid performance and so energetic - Netta truly deserved the victory and I'm glad she won in the end. And tbh, seeing comments like "I'll never watch Eurovision again!!!!111" is quite funny because come May 2019 you'll be doing exactly that, huns x So get over it, the winner is valid and fair. 

Anyway aside from that, I'm so happy for her and it was deserved. See you all in Israel (hopefully Tel Aviv because to me that is a better city )
