*cracking knuckles* its time for my reaction and oh boy get ready...

if you didn't know this is my first ever esc live and i must say i enjoyed it! while i missed most of semi-final 1 and a decent amount of semi-final 2, i did watch almost all of the grand finale so congrats to Portugal for a great show!!

REACTIONS:

aww i don't think this was completely deserved, but her performance wasn't the most memorable and there were better performances but at least Finland was in the final!
what a great comback for SuRie after the whole incident! she came back from it with so much more power than before, but i'm not surprised about the placing
as i created my final prediction i was like there's no way spain is gonna be in my bottom five... then there was only 5 left and i have to say deserved, but it was still so much better than last year
YESS HERITAGE CAME IN FULL FORCE FOR THIS SONG but not surprised; figured it would place low but at least they made the final
i've always hated metal but wow they made me finally like a song of this genre! not surprised about placing because metal really isnt a "eurovision" genre
i enjoyed this song! kind of puts me in a good mood when I listen to it and brings self confidence but it looks like australia isn't doing as great anymore

in general:  after seeing juries:  HOLY FUCKED WAS THIS ROBBED I AM LEGITAMATELY MADE THAT THIS WAS LAST IN JURIES THIS WAS SO UNDERRATED AND SO UNDESERVED WHAT THE FUCK
after it qualified i wondered how much they payed for ireland to be in the final but after seeing it and listening to it live i actually enjoyed it a lot and appreciate it so cudos to ireland on a greatish job!
i think im one of the few people who actually enjoys this song a lot but happy it didn't make the top 5
i went into the semifinals with the thought that Sofia might be hosting ESC next year but while the live performances were amazing, the song kind of failed to stand out like some others did, great job for bulgaria though!
  im shocked it finished so low, but not complaining
YES QUEEN IM SO HAPPY THIS WAS A BORDERLINE QUALIFIER AND ALMOST REACHED THE TOP 10 WHAT A GREAT RESULT FOR LITHUANIA
he's a good vocalist but not a fan so bye
I've loved this since the start im so happy they placed in the top 10 again! one of the best performances of the night
UNDERRATED! glad the televote came through and while i don't think it should be this high it's a lot better than 20th wtf
im mad sweden is ahead of this but YESSS MY QUEEN SHE DID AMAZING
  (posted it three times to REALLY get the point across but my mom gave me a look because i was watching a live stream and physically jumped when i saw sweden received only 22 points like wow ?? did he bring god onto the stage when the juries were voting or what ?? because i thought his performance was NOT good and glad europe agreed
hes hot and he brought the best result for czechia i like it
this song grew on me a lot and i loved their live performace but my god was this underrated by the juries

she was on fire and i knew she would be the biggest competition for Netta and im a lil sad that Nicosia2019 won't happen but great job to her for such an amazing result for Cyprus!

if it was in my hands, Australia wouldn’t have even qualified this year lmao, and not because I would sabotage it, but because I think this entry is worthless

Well I don't see it as very fair that Australia gets to participate just because they have money, and you have countries like Liechtenstein, Kazakhstan and Kosovo (different story but still) who express interest in participating and are actually European but can't for financial reasons etc. It just fuels this idea that all the EBU cares about is money, and while I understand they have bills to pay and an organisation to run, giving a free pass to a country on the other side of the world just because they have cash in their pockets whilst slamming the door shut in front of other countries is not a great look.


Plus, Australia sticks out like a sore thumb in the contest - people constantly ask why they're there and I don't think there is any valid reason as to why. I think if they tank in the televote once again next year (assuming their participate) it will be a clear sign that they've overstayed their welcome and it's time to go back to creating Asiavision.
