Samir & Viktor and Margaret should go through the Grand Final.
But... I can't see the quality level that Melodifestivalen used to provide us last years... (so far at least)

MF 2018 reviews. Leggo Sigrid Bernson (Ok so this reminds me too much of Wild Child but COME ON. As a theatrical bech, you know I love me some dirty dancing and this was pretty good. Also was that dude who lifted Sigrid from the audience?) John Lundvik (It really wasn't the best when I first heard it but now it's grown on me. From songwriter to singer, it really is his turn) Renaida (   LEAN ON &  LOVE ME ARE SHAKING) Edward Blom (:wtef: I bet that was probably the most embarrassing performance the dancers had. I feel sorreh. But at least the end reminds me of Be Our Guest) Kikki Danielsson (She did a Charlotte Perelli of 2018. She's still a legend tho) Kampferdrops (This was just too underrated. When I first heard it was edgy, I thought it was gonna be our kind of edgy but nope. Also how do you play a saxophone thats on fire? Ultra Sax Guy who?) Benjamin Ingrosso (Maria Hazell is a backing vocalist yaaaas. Also is it just me or does his song sound like Charlie Puth's new music?) See you in SF2 where Camila Cabello will be copied |

to be honest Margaret's song stands out in this semifinal. it's catchy & likable entry I know ppl used to complain about Margaret's voice and the opinion is mostly based on her perfomance in the Polish preselections, but she said many times she was sick at that time. On the video snippet from melfest rehearsal her performance looks more polished, I like the laid-back atmosphere but I'm a bit afraid about the glam toilet seat. Anyway Margaret with the radio-friendly song just rocks out in this semi.   |

1.  Jonas Gardell - Det finns en vägina (It's beautiful and I somehow got "grandpa-is-telling-a-story-vibes  If you know what I mean.) 2. Ida Redig - Allting som vi sa (I like it ) 3. Samir & Viktor - Shuffla (idk what to think there, but imo it's the best of their 3 entries) 4. Mimi Werner - Songburning (A bit weak in all honesty) 5. Margaret - In my cabana (It sounds like I've already heard it somewhere.) 6. Titta vi flyger - Stiko Per Larsson (I like it, but it sounds not that special. Guess he'll stay in the semi.) 7. Liamoo - Last breath (Nothing special either.) So in the end I like 6/7 songs. |
