That, my friends, is Johnny Manuel. He is an flagamerica American singer who was on America's Got Talent last year, and covered Whitney's "I Have Nothing." His Instagram show him being in Sofia very recently. Also, I found this video from ESC2017 with a man I believe to be Johnny with a Bulgarian name Valdimir Mihailov. He fits the profile of the second man to the left in the Equinox promo picture. EDIT: Actually, this isn't Johnny. It's likely Cesar Simpson (Austria 2018) who was a backing vocalist for Bulgaria last year. Vladimir Mihailov was also a backing vocalist for Bulgaria. Also, Zhana's instragram has changed to match the wig used in the Equinox promo pictures. HereSoooo..... thoughts? The fact that this has been evidently been in the works since last year speaks volume to me, and I'm expecting a lot. This lady here, who apparently was on their internal jury, seems to expect so too. Get hype?

Wow that's really not what I expected them to come up with. But I guess it's a so far.

That's what I expected after the delegations offered the first details of the song. Maybe it's not a top10 song in my ranking because I would like to have 20 songs in my top10 but I really like it. It has such a dark and mystical side that I love and it also explodes towards the end. And I really think that the live performance with a good staging might improve the studio version. I don't think they will win but they will definately be in the Grand Final and about the place... somewhere around top10.

I don't like it at all Especially the lyrics are so awkward, "goes deep inside your *insert whatever*" could never sound well.

Not for me. This really feels 00s Eurovision, and nearly feels painfully paint by numbers, but slightly modernized by being "darkpop". I originally didn't like Kristian until he performed live, so I'll give it a chance, but with all those big vocalists on a single song it could become a car crash.
