 Portugal withdraws and with them their HoD as well I just really lost interest in the contest lately, and that being said, I loved to participate for 8 editions (1 pause tho) and it was one of my favourites to participate in for a long time. Just recently I was not as motivated as before, I took a break to see if the interest would come back, but honestly I don't want to keep participating if I don't really have fun anymore. Thank you for the time in this contest, and it is an amazing one  |

 İctimai Television officially withdraws but intends to broadcast IMF #39
iTV withdrew from IMF 39 and have plans to broadcast IMF #39. The Azerbaijani broadcaster revealed it's intentions to pariticipate in the 40th edition of the contest,with a possible national selection.

'I feel over the moon, It's amazing that I will be going back to the International Music Festival after so long, It will be a great chance to see the IMF family and sing back on that amazing stage, I look forward to Yerevan and hope to bring back Albania the best result I can'.
