FIRST EVENING - PRESENTATION OF SONGS
Ciao a tutti ! Siete benvenuti a San Marino per la prima edizione dal concorso "I Giovani Cantano Per San Marino" !
Hello everybody, my name is Laura Chiatti, I'm an actress and I've been chosen by San Marino to present this edition of the national selection of San Marino. I come from the province of Perugia, not very far for San Marino. Before the presentation of the songs in competition, let's introduce the show with
Maryolm Paladdino. She is going to sing "Grande amore", the song that has been interpreted by Il Volo for Italy in Eurovision Song Contest.

Now it's time to begin the presentation of the songs in competition.
The first contestant is Alessandra Prete, aka Priestess. Before discovering her entry, let's see her in the contest "Una voce per il sud" in 2012. She was 15 and had already a very pretty voice...
Priestess is now one of the greatest emerging talents of Italian rap/hip hop. Let's now discover her song "Maria-Antonieta".
SONG #1
Our second contestant is coming from Rome. She is guitarist and singer-songwriter. She was discovered by Marlene Kuntz in 2005 and made the second voice on this song...
Her first EP was released in 2011. The song in competition comes from her first album, that was released on the 31st of March. "Different" is a beautiful electro-pop song.

We have another Giulia, and she also comes from Rome! The next contestant is Giulia Penna, who has been nicknamed "The Wonder Woman of X Factor 8" in Italy. Why? Because of her audition. I let you discover the exclusive video...

Like she said at the end, Italy was not ready for this, but we can definitely say that Italy (and probably not only Italy) is ready for her new entry, "Legocentrico"!

The next singer is the winner of The Voice 2016 in Italy. Alice Paba was born in 1997 near Rome. She cursed the jurees with her very sweet unplugged version of "Toxic" during the blind auditions.
A few months later, she was (already) in Festival of Sanremo in a duet with Nesli. It's time now to discover her own song. No one would deny she has something special in her voice...

Another singer named Giulia and coming from Rome! Giulia Luzi is the next contestant. She is 23 years old but she has already a pretty long career: she began at 10 as Italian voice for Disney movies and shows (like Hannah Montana). When she was 20, she played Juliet in the Italian version of "Romeo and Juliet".
Now she is a rising Italian popstar. Her last song is very interesting because it's modern but also very near from her musical origins. I let you hear her voice...

It's time to discover Valeria Farinacci. She is born in 1993 in Terni, in the center of Italy, not very far from my hometown. She was absolutely unknown before she made "Area Sanremo", the preselection for Festival Sanremo (junior category). She managed to reach the final 8 and sang "Insieme" live on TV on the prestigious stage of Ariston. Unfortunately she was eliminated in semi-final.
She is competing now with her new song "Dopo cena". A great song: voice, instrumentals and lyrics (about the consumer society) are very good.

The next contestant is Valentina Ottoboni aka Sejo, 23 years old, dancer and singer from Cremona, between Milan and Parma. Let's discover her in this interview...
Now let's see her music video shot in New York. The song is very modern and catchy and her choreography is like a magnet for eyes.
SONG #7
And now, here is the last contestant, Lodovica Comello. Born in 1990 near the Slovenian border, she has developed multiple talents for dancing, acting and singing. She obtained a role in the famous Argentinian TV series "Violetta". Let's see one of her performances...
She is competing with her new song in English. Fans of Anna Kendrick will probably appreciate the reference to the "cup song". Again, a very fresh song with good visual effects and choregraphy.
