I hope this year was the kick in the pants the delegation needed. We shouldn't rest on our laurels and just send another basic and generic ass ballad by DNA and expect to do well when Isaiah is a foetus with zero charisma or stage presence (and an inability to properly extend his knees, it seems). Sound of Silence would've ended up similarly to Don't Come Easy if Dami didn't totally sing her absolute heart out and slay everybody vocally.
Hopefully, if we actually do a national selection, we can get a singer who will be able to better connect with viewers and convey the message of their song properly, as they already would've had to win over the Australian public. This might actually translate into televote points from countries whose representative isn't also Australian.
Or we might not even get invited back lmfao

Around, this days another Australian participation in Eurovision has become very unlikely, but no by a fight or a sad reason, its because SBS (Australian Broadcaster) is in cooperation with the EBU to be one of the biggest investors in Asiavision, Asiavision is planned to be a spin off show of eurovision, with the same system of the contest, qnd in there would participate countries of Oceania and Asia, some of the countries interested in participate, are china, korea, japan, new zealand, and australia (that would be lime the big one as its going to be the biggest investor, as the big 5 are in europe), and its planned that its first edition its in 2018, so that could signal the end of Australia in Eurovisiom
