UPDATE: Well, I tried to get other sources apart from Wikipedia, the most realiable sources I found all link to two news articles and an interview, but also all of them are down or can't be found . In that case, I'll take what most wikipedia pages have and only the English wikipedia says she's from France.

So unfortunately, that means she's not eligible for France, I'm very sorry for this inconvenience   You may send your runner-up intead.
