This song was played on the radio at work around 2 months ago. We agreed that she sounds a bit like Rihanna at some parts and the song is a bit in the style of Sia. At the evening I had to google it and found out that this singer is from Bern (and therefore it's eligible to send). I'm actually really interested to see how it will go. And no I have no idea who any of these people are (and according to a Facebook post I found no one else does  ), but I guess that girl on the thumbnail is the singer.  . |

Those of you, who are in this contest at least since  Latvia joined, might already recognize these guys (probably not, but still), because they are returning - not the way they took part on the first try, but with their own band, which also took part in Eirodziesma 2009,
with different song though. If you can't recognize these guys - they were participating in edition #21 (part of choir) - very unsuccessfully, I must admit, but maybe their new (yeah, 2009 is new ) look and performance will knock to your hearts a bit more  BTW, they couldn't think of any simplier bandname Simply 4 - "Believe In Your Life" (1:43 onwards, please) A few pics to use: |

Marina Satti, born on 26 December 1986 in Athens by a Sudanese father and a Greek mother. She grew up in Heraklion, Crete, and dealt with the piano with Rika Deligiannaki as a teacher. In September 2004 she moved to Athens to study Architecture, while studying classical singing, theater and dance. In the next five years she received a diploma of classical singing with the baritone Panos Dimas, a classical piano diploma and senior theoreticians. Later, she earned a scholarship for the Berklee College of Music, from which she graduated in 2011 with a specialization in Contemporary Writing and Production and Film Scoring.
Her entry 'Mantissa' or 'Μάντισσα' already became viral and it counts 8m+ views at the moment. |
