DEADLINE HAS PASSED!The deadline for confirmations has passed.Despite the extension, the following people still failed to give any information about their participation, therefore they cannot compete this edition and they already received the strike:
Mordecai , ✨💃 , αndreas , @thesirenscalling , George Sorry but there was more than enough time and reminders.
That means that only 44 countries will participate in the 49th edition (the smallest amount since OESC #10).
The quarter-final will obviously not take place, but it's still unknown what is going to happen with the QF next edition when a bunch of countries is expected to return.
The preliminary deadline for submitting entries is going to be 2 weeks from now on, but more details are going to be given soon. Stay tuned!

THE AUSTRIAN SONG As we already explained, a new investor accepted to support the Austrian participation at Own Eurovision Song Contest. But there was a little condition: he wanted that his daughter became the first Austrian contestant with a song she recorded when she was 17 years old. It was apparently not a very smart idea... But we listened to the song and we conclude the deal. So Austria will be represented by Victoria Swarovski with her song "One in a million".

Israel will select its entry internally! Despite the earlier announcement that Israel would select its entry with Rising Star, IPBC will internally select its entry due to budget cuts within the network. Rising star Anna Zak will not represent the nation as IPBC has secured "something".
Will Sagi Abitbul return? Will HAIM represent Israel? Will OESC winner Maya Buskila return? Stay tuned...
