Mysterious Song Contest #34 [Grand Final Results]

I got traumatised in 2016 when Dami Im had her victory stolen by a cat who had its tail stuck in a door. Since this baleful evening I'm not fond of the presentations of results where everything can be lost in a second.

Despite the 3 given by the non-qualifiers (thanks to them), the from the other countries made Italy fall from 2nd to 8th place. Losing an AQ spot like that (and for only 6 points) is not very funny but we can't deinitely call that a bad result for a song that nobody else knew before the contest began when a 3Mds+ views song is also in competition. I do think that originality is as important as the "quality" of the song (personally I'm not at all a fan of "Despacito") but everybody is free to vote how he wants.

As you noticed I decided to take a new country this time, and to change more often in the future. There are a lot of countries I have never hosted before and after a good result, it is time to let Italy for new challenges.
