I usually am a fan of Hungarian entries and non-pop songs but this one is just atrocious in my ears.

Call this whatever you want, but when Hungary has the freaking balls to send a song like this to Eurovision, y'all know they're being serious. My heart was fuckin' racing during the announcement of the winner, and I was jumping from my chair after the public threw the juries opinion under the bus. At least the wrecks from yesyes and Kiraly Viktor didn't win, and Hungary actually went for a risky act, AND THAT'S WHAT WE NEEDED ALL ALONG. This song is definitely the kind of songs we should be seeing at Eurovision - a huge diversity between song genres and sounds. AWS manages to deliver the post-hardcore rock genre to a very good level, and you can see all the members actually doing their all to deliver it. I also love the main vocalists dedication into this, as both his singing and screamo are s t u n n i n g. When will your favsLoving that they decided to dedicate this song about the main vocalists father who passed away several years ago, as I can really feel his emotions. Oh, and before anyone goes "why would you sing post-hardcore rock, while singing screamo, about a deceased father?", reminder that emotions aren't only shown through sadness. In this situation, it's not sadness he is showing, it's anger, an anger and he is showing it very clearly through out the chorus. The song is insanely well produced, and I can see this easily stand out in the second semi final. So happy Hungary had the guts to go for something so risky, yet fantastic. Kudos to you, Hungary o/ Let's hope we get more diversity between songs as the year follows, huehue

It kind of takes me back to my teenage days So I think that's why I'm latching on to it slowly but surely. I actually really like it

popsluts were found dead I'm not a metal fan either but this is actually... idk, mellow enough for me lmao It's also incredibly unique and will definitely stand out in Lisbon And the only reason this isn't a 12 is because of that SDJKFGFJKGHG HORRIBLE KEY CHANGE at the end but that doesn't detract much from the rest of this brilliant song

Oh, I meant that the other way around, directing it to popsluts in particular (or more specifically, the ones who gave this ). This song is about feeling, and for sure not fireworks. Oh yeah. (Though there were pyros in their NF performance but it was more 'performance is fireworks' than 'music is fireworks'. It'd be so crushing to see this overlooked because of the genre. Emotions come in many forms. Shallow-sounding pop songs can have a true reason behind them too. It's just that there's rarely that and more manufacture coming from labels that see what's selling and imitate the same thing as well. Kesha used to be Ke$ha and went for all the 'party-boys-glitter-neon' attitude but this was mostly the way her label perceived her up until the scandal with Dr. Lukas and her breaking free after that and writing something completely different. I know this isn't Meaningvision but at least pay respect to the genuinity of the lyrics. What's gonna happen when your parents die? obviously not write a post-hardcore song Hmm? You usually don't know what you have had until it's gone, so...
