I hope the next edition will have a notice of 3-4 days (at least), before it starts, because I (and probably someone else) would like to do a short NS, so a few days would be much appreciated  |

However, if you want to host a NS, you may just do it now, that we're taking a break and simply set your deadline once we make an official announcement about the next edition (if your NS is indeed really short). |

Hi everyone, here's an update:
It seems like we can restart a bit earlier than originally expected, so the submissions will start in 3 days: 3rd of October (= Tuesday), 16:00 CET
At around this time the thread for the new edition will be opened and the submissions will officially start. You'll be tagged then.
The rules of the last few editions (first come, first serve, 48 sure spots, PQR...) will apply. Only the top 3 of last edition (Guatemala, Finland, Canada), the managers and the RoW jury voters (which are the players from Azerbaijan, Russia and USA) have a safe spot.
In case you don't want to participate this time (or can't for any reason), please let us know so we won't tag you
If you're running a NF, remember to close it in time 
We're looking forward to WWWSC #57!

Oh My God, This days have been wonderful and i havent lost this smile, winning this contest is like a dream come true, its the firs time I win with my own country, (and except for one contest) I am practically the only person who plays Guatemala in this forum, Im going to be honest, I love the music of my country and my purpose on this forum is to present them to you, but i would be lying if i said that i knew i was winning, and thats because even if i love the music of my country, i know many people arent going to find anything special in that music. What makes me more happy is the song, Gaby Moreno is one of my personal favorites, and she is one of the greatest Guatemala exports, I love the song El Sompreron, is my favorite song from her, and it feels good when your favorite song is liked by so many people, and the meaning, El Sombreron isnt only a song, El Sombreron is a legend in Guatemala story folklore, Guatemala feels represented by this and more stories and having something so representative of my country be so liked feels me with pride for my land, AND I literraly jawdropped when i discoverd, it broke the 12 point record, how te hell did that happen, it was incredible. I thank personally to everyone of the people who voted from me even if it was only a point, Gracias desde el fondo de mi Corazon 12 Points:           10 Points:   8 Points:  7 Points:  6 Points:  5 Points:   4 Points:   3 Points:   and the rest of the world votes 1 Point:   I also want to adress why this came a little bit late, its because i dont like to write with a hot head, a lot of comments were supportive, but some comments where all round horrible, I felt like they were insulting the song, but also what it represents my country, and i wanted to respond to this people, but i didnt, because i realized i wasnt thinking straight, this isnt the first winner i have seen its insulted but it felt hard this time because i have a connection with the song, i wasnt being objective, all i can say if you dont like the song, well it doesnt have to be your cup of tea, maybe in the future i will find something you will like, and I wont let your mean comments get to me, because you said my song isnt good, i have the prove that more people here are in a disagreemnt with you, and you said my song didnt deserve to win, well i was first by 21 points, and some of you who said that didnt even qualify so are you sure are you the person to talk about deserve, and i dont need to deserve it, it isnt like i was owed the win, i fought for the win, and I earned it. Now my only concern is that this will probably be my only win, because finding a song as good as this one is an almost impossible task, but hey im up for the challenge. PS:  I somehow saw it coming. But it's a beautiful song so I can't complain. I'm also happy that (for the first time ever) my top 2 went to top 3. It happens hardly ever that one of my top 3 goes there, but now 2.  Maybe the time my favourite finally wins is coming.  Also  Iceland and  Vietnam yay!  As for my result I'm now even more disappointed after seeing myself finishing second to last in the semi. But well at least I'm used to be around there. Are you a future teller? because not even i saw that coming. w o w This is so overwhelming so thank you for a top 10 if i remember correctly lmao i thought that was scorewhoring tbh..  extremely underrated ROBBED Whats Scorewhoring? Im serious on the question i dont know what that means and i need someone to explain it to me. I'm extremely happy and proud of our neighbour, Guatemala  Such an amazing song, amazing singer, amazing player, very deserved win! Muchas felicidades José, lo lograste amigo y México te aplaude This is easily my favorite winner since a lot of editions, if not my favorite winner overall. And somehow I predicted the winner correctly again As for me, 8th place is amazing as well, my 3rd Mexican top 10 in this contest Also wtf I won the semi-final, thank you very much for that Special thanks to José for your also to Anes and María for your  I'm also happy  Latvia, Iceland, Sweden, Austria and  Ethiopia reached the top 10, all were in my top (well Iceland was like my 12th , shotout to  South Korea who was my 11th  ) .  India, flagreece Greece and  Ukraine are very underrated imo Thank you for another great edition and good luck to mimis in his journey See you soon!
