I didn't know her before the Contest (Just saying)  The newer guys aren't exposed to the singer like the older members. That's why MSC are strong about every singer and song competing. No rule on banning the 'familiar' artist or songs |

The newer guys aren't exposed to the singer like the older members. That's not what I meant. And new member or around forever, most of us are supposed to know songs like this. I only knew this as was in UK charts not forums. This place is awful for upcoming singers. It's is banned and overused before the song is even released. A song gets a decent position and it's labelled horribly. MSC is a contest where these stigmas do not exist. Every song can compete regardless of its status. |

Every song can compete regardless of its status. Although I like the fact that you can just send what you want in your contest I have to say that you overdo the situation here. Especially your first statement is blatantly wrong, I knew many singers who became known later before thanks to the forums. The fact that overused songs can end up in bad positions is mostly caused by the fact that most people are bored of hearing the same song over again, if this even happens. |

If one knows a song (which I guess that other guy to do as well) then we're (most of the times at least) supposed to know the artist. (Did that even make sense?  ) |
