I dont think, that anyone is interested in the age of this artist now, important is that he was 17 or younger when he published the song. I mean so many good songs that came out in the past are unusable just bcs the artist grows. |

Artist needs to be 17 or younger currently. Apologies if that wasn't made clear Sry, but I cant understand why the artist need to be 17 or younger currently. I dont think, that anyone is interested in the age of this artist now, important is that he was 17 or younger when he published the song. I mean so many good songs that came out in the past are unusable just bcs the artist grows. Artists need to be 17 or younger as that is a rule in JMSC. For us it is silly to have someone compete in the adult version and then a few editions later have a song they sung as child compete in JMSC. Their age currently is an easy rule to follow as you can work out easily how old they are today. There are a lot of unusable songs out but there will be more in their place instead but this is a rule chosen by the MBU. |

 Italy withdraws I sent my entry for approval, and although i came up with obvious evidence about her origin and age, the hosts didn't allow it. I tried to search for something better, and i also received a few suggestions. But i really didn't find anything i'll like (I didn't even search that much) and I've kinda lost interest after this. I received a suggestion about Turkey, but as i see she's already participating in the adult version. I'll withdraw for this edition, and I'll possibly return in the future. Sorry for the inconvenience hosts. (I release Italy in case someone wants it). |

It could be that junior singers aren't your style but I have tound you many singers from load sof countries and keep finding more. It is not a good idea to look at 18+ singer as anything prior will not be allowed in JMSC. The singer can compete with the song in the adult version as it's the age of the singer that matters not the age of the song. If you need singers then please ask we can help I've got Spanish singers for JMSC |

I always found my songs randomly (  Jane Constance is an exception because I was already being following her after her victory at The Voice Kids). The most random discovery I ever made was Jannine Weigel because I found her by accident while I was looking for information about Jannine (the Romanian girl I used for previous edition). But after that I found Lou (I used her in NNMC), Angie Robba (used in Homemade Song Contest), Anastasiya Petryk and some others so I had to make a choice... I usually don't look for young singers because those who have vocal skills similar to adults are very rare - and when I find one of these, I don't hesitate to send them in an adult contest. |
