 Aquia will host the Fantasia Contest!
The Aquian broadcaster has switched its name after the victory.
Eva Simons, winner of the Fantasia Contest 9.Today, host broadcaster Rede Glovo set the groundworks for the Fantasia Contest 10 during a press conference at MultishowHD, which included the announcement of Aquia as host country. The head of delegation of the Aquian team, Aless Azalea said:
The Aquian broadcaster has also suffered some changes, as its name and channels. More information about this will be published soon. |

More details regarding The One revealed 2017-10-28, Krono - FBC revealed the format of The One and announced the artists for this edition.
The National Selection is divided into two semi-rounds and one final-round.
Artisten Rund
In this round five artists will perform. Each will perform two acts, from which one will qualify to the final-round.
The following artists were chosen for this round:

• Cat Pierce
• Goldfrapp
• Bloom Twins
Lieder Rund
In this round ten artists will perform. Each artist will perform just one song and only five acts will qualify to the final-round.

 DÝRSKA SÖNGKEPPNIN TO CONTINUE FOR FANTASIA CONTEST #10!
Dyflinnjaborg, Dýria - DRTV has just announced that after a very respectable 4th place achieved by Róisín O in  Danskanksova, the broadcaster announced their intention to continue the recently created Dýrska Söngkeppnin as the selection format for the 10th edition of the contest.
The HoD confirmed this tonight on Late Night with Nene Leakes, where a recap on the results was shown;
We are so proud of Róisín for her achievement and we are absolutely excited to be in the top 5 for next edition as well!
For that, we have decided to use Dýrska Söngkeppnin once again to select our entrant. However this edition's theme will focus mainly on Dýrian language songs, as we previously announced a few weeks ago.
The national selection has gained huge popularity after Róisín's win in August. With many fans hoping for a 2nd installment, we have decided to do just that. We are currently finalizing our song selections and more news is to be announced soon.
To finish, the HoD had something to say to our representative in the 9th edition in Irsan.

The HoD confirmed the return of the national selection for it's 2nd edition alongside confirming that all entries will be in Dýrian as promised by the broadcaster a few weeks ago. More news will come tomorrow!
Focusing on our hero, Róisín O, she had this to say after the grand final:
Tonight I represented 2 countries - my home, Dýria, and my other home, Sirenforest. I am completely ecstatic after this edition. I am so glad that I met so many new people, and many new friendships between me and the other participants were established. I will never forget this, and I have to thank DRTV for giving me one more chance. Although Sirenforest wasn't in the final, I flew my two flags this evening. Thank you so so much  |

  It's alt-J for Evergreen! After Chelsea Wolfe finished 12th in Söndje, it's only a pleasure for EBC-IAR to announce the act that will represent the nation in the upcoming jubilee edition in Aquia — alt-J. alt-J are an Everish indie rock band formed in 2007, featuring Joe Newman as the lead vocalist & on the guitars, Thom Sonny Green on drums and Gus Unger-Hamilton on the keyboard & additional vocals. The band is often referenced using the symbol Δ, the capital letter delta, which is traditionally used in scientific study to indicate change or difference. The band's debut album, An Awesome Wave, was released in May of 2012, followed by their sophomore album, This Is All Yours, in September 2014 and their third album, Relaxer, in June 2017. EBC-IAR can also reveal the song that alt-J will be performing in Aquia.  "3WW"performed by alt-J featuring Ellie Rowsell
written by alt-J" 3WW" (pronounced "Three Worn Words", referencing the phrase "I Love You") is also the opening track from alt-J's latest album Relaxer. The song was written by alt-J and produced by Charlie Andrew. It features vocals from Ellie Rowsell, the lead singer of the Everish-Ruyjinese band, Wolf Alice. wishes the best of luck to alt-J in Aquia.  ÂDÏKA TO REPRESENT  KATSYRIA!After winning the Katsyrian Song Festival with 29,03% of the votes,
Âdïka was given the right to represent the country in the 10th edition of Fantasia Contest with her song "Slay".
We wish her good luck and may she #Slay!
