Can't find anything that motivates me to rank this higher, but anyway whichever would get chosen they would be lower than 7th in my top for sure.

As much as the majority of us, europals, are used with the atypical good old balkan ballad, which tends to range between multiple criteria: either the power ballad which we've mainly seen for Serbia or Bosnia and are praised by basically almost every europal, either the ballad which tends to go towards atmospheric/ambiental-ish kind of, either a calm ballad, meant to be a tad bit more personal. "Inje", in the case, would fit into the second category - as much as the song progresses, the song catches a certain ambiental feeling. Vanja's vocals aren't that strong in order to overwhelm the entire atmosphere, nor too weak so that he'll be outshined by it. Plus, the chorus starts getting more power into the last section of the song, destroying effectively the supposed monotony.
My point of view regarding this song? Let's say Montenegro is more of the "ugly ducking of the former ex-yugoslav block". Throughout its debut as an independent state untill now, they tried to go very diverse and yet didn't manage to obtain a first qualification untill 2014. With what kind of song? A balkan ballad. The streak went on in 2015 - and did even better than in their first qualification, so yay for Montenegro \o/
Okay, back to "Inje". Despite the little monotony many people will probably point out, or the general line of "this song goes nowhere", in my point of view it fits the general ambiance it tried to deliver. The performance was simple, yet it focused more on the singer's vocal performance rather than what's on the background. It makes the song a tad bit more personal, and I really enjoy a yearly dose of balkan ballad once in a while. My main thing is that Vanja needs to really work on his performance, as him casually walking around the stage wouldn't make a major stand-out in people's eyes. And is it me or he looked like he was going to fall asleep soon during the performance? Dude, we get your devotion and all, but sleep first and perform afterwise, for god's sake.
It can still be a grower, depends on what others select.

cute song and I'm glad we finally have a balkan ballad again but this just sounds like a bad version of previous balkan ballads such as Adio

Waiting for a HQ version to judge, but all I can say is that it was far from being my favourite of this NS.
