Welcome everybody!

Here in this thread you can discuss everything about our 59th Edition in

Ireland!

The submissions officially start now, Deadline: Tuesday, 26th of December!

The edition will begin officially with the semi-finals (or the Pre-Qualification Round, depending on how many participants we have) in January 2018!

The rules of the last edition apply, here they are:

IMPORTANT: Confirming isn't enough, just a submitted song guarantees your place in the upcoming edition! Only the first 48 spots are safe, the people submitting afterwards will take part in a Pre-Qualification Round and compete for the 3 remaining spots, making it a field of 51 in the "main competition"!
(information about that round will follow once the submissions are closed)

Already reserved are the hosts, the Top 3 from last edition and those who voted as members in the Rest of The World Jury last edition. If any of these fail to submit an entry in time, he/she will lose the secured place.

We're looking forward to receiving your entries!

Please let us know if you want to withdraw so you don't get tagged anymore.

It's Ina Shai for Slovenia

With a close win at the 12th National Selection "Sunny side of Alps" Ina Shai takes it with her song Lonely Tree.
She represented Slovenia in edition #13 with Plešeta under her given name Martina Šraj.
Now she is back after 5 years, more ready than ever. We wish her best of luck with the first entry of 2018.

Latvia is represented by a fresh language - this time it will be our 5th represented language and it will be

portuguese, because the winner of my NF was the only song that wasn't fully english!

Our next representative is half

After a very exciting voting (since the very first voter til 9th "The High" was leading, but the 10th voter dropped "The High" to 2nd)

Latvia will be represented with Laura's song Friend In Me!
