Norway: Expected great staging and I loved the white projections on screen. It actually made me laugh out when the audience was shown and people didn't really feel it.
Oh an did I already mention his weird jacket? I'm actually happy he took it off at some point!
Romania: Amazing staging, but I somehow felt the stage was too full there and too big as they didn't really interact with each others.
I kinda liked it, but it's still an expected elimination.
Serbia: I liked that the girls have all a different hair colour.
A pretty good performance (even though it looked like father and daughters), but the old man was just confusing here. The qualification came unexpected, but I'm happy since it's not in English.
San Marino: Omg they took the robots (I was actually dancing along) with them.
But that's already the highlight of that performance. Jenifer looked horrific, but Jessika was gorgeous. And those dancers didn't fit at all either imo. Not missing this at all
Btw. I loved their postcard.
Denmark: An obvious finalist actually. I loved everything about it especially that they included the wind and snow.
Russia: Oh a dress somewhere between Ieva's nightdress and Elina's idk how to call it.
Her vocals have improved, but are still the probably worst this year. Those dancers were very annoying imo. For the song and performance it's an obvious non-qualifier, but as it's Russia still a bit unreal.
Moldova: I loved that performance. Definitely among the best ones this year.
the Netherlands: Omg in the postcard he did our infamous things from the first post in random discussion we can't tell what they are.
Anyway he did an okay job I think, but the other guys were weird.
Australia: That postcard was cuuuute!
On the other hand I find her dress a bit discussable as well as some of her moves.
It was weird how she encouraged people to sing as in a concert for example when she held the microphone towards the audience.
However I still find her amazing, although everything happened a bit too fast for me.
Georgia:A very predictable elimination there. However they were really good and for a reason gave me Italy 2015 vibes there.
Poland: As much as I love the song, I'm not sure about the performance or if the song is a good choice for Eurovision. Yet I haven't seen them getting eliminated in the semi.
Oh and let's be honest those hand moves were very annoying!
Malta: She was struggling with her vocals especially in the beginning. The staging was great tho, but there are moments where I didn't like the screen especially when it was too messy to see (which I didn't anyway lol). And what's the point of having a dancer that can be seen for like 5 seconds? And what did she do to her hands?
Hungary: Highly expected staging, but a bit weak vocally...
Btw. were they barefoot on stage?
Latvia: She made a few interesting moves and had a weird dress imo lol. But vocally she was pretty good. However I felt like they whole thing was a bit too red.
Sweden: When I saw him for the first time I thought he didn't wear any pants lmao. Interesting as a whole performance.
Montenegro:
He's constant moving from side to side was annoying me a lot! Sanne counts for him keeping the same facial expression (aka neutral) throughout the whole thing?
All in all I must say that although he made a great job vocally, it's absolutely not an unexpected non-qualification either.
Slovenia: A bit a wtf staging with annoying lights. Not a fan of her vocals.
The sudden interruption of the music gave me almost a heart attack.
But at least we got another moment of everyone singing along together.
In terms of her qualification this is definitely unexpected and another "Ireland".
Ukraine:
A bit a kitschy postcard.
Lmao starting off as vampire in the coffin.
I wished he had returned there at the end, but that would've been difficult to do.
Btw. generally I find it weird that he sings Under the ladder, but he's never really there.
The show:
Today's show was a bit "worse" than the one on Tuesday. I was even questioning if 4 hosts aren't too many.
Btw. I loved that we've seen the behind the scenes of the postcards
My absolut highlight was "The Evolution of dance". xDD
