 French top two is rigged. Kidding of course.   Tom joining in the last minute. Well, as an  American, I can't say I'm disappointed. I'm sure our women's team will have better luck in 2019 (which is coincidentally held in France  ). |

When I submitted my scores I didn't expect to end up in the Top 10 AT ALL so this is a wonderful surprise to me, even though it was really really close and I could've easily ended up like 5 spots lower if I lose these last  Félicitations Blandine et le team francais, I've been rooting for the French team since the beginning so it was super nice to see them winning. And  Croatia did an absolutely amazing job with qualifying to the Final, I don't think anyone really expected it before the tournament. |

A little late reaction of mine on final results (because I haven't been home last 2 days): 1. Congratulations to Blandine on winning this thing (which I actually congratulated her already after 1/4 finals, when she didn't want to agree with me on her winning it) and her nation on winning the world cup.  2. I'm quite happy for finishing 8th, knowing how bad I was in knockout stage (especially semis), it could've been even lower place.  And I reached 100 points  Anyway, it was a fun time, although it also hurt, when I wanted both teams to win - one because I predicted it and the other one because it was my favortie in that specific game 3. And finally - congratz to everyone who participated (and got the result they expected or didn't) and hopefully had a great reason to watch the beautiful game of football  Who knows - maybe in 4 years we'll meet again here! |
