As a member of the council I want to stress the fact that the decision to ban you, italix for an unlimited amount of time (I stressed that since it means that there's a chance you can return in the future, although at the same time it's not for granted) was a decision the council made together, and this not simply because you created needless discussions several times, but also to protect yourself as your involvement in such discussions as the contest in general didn't seem to be on a reasonable level anymore. We all know how you stand on this matter, we already did before you initiated yet another debate in this thread, so I think it isn't needed anymore to further continue this topic. PS: if that calms you down, of course we discussed the fact that a sentence from your PM was quoted outside, and we also are in contact with the Albanian player in order to find a solution for that misunderstanding, which seemed to outrage you so much. I just want to stress the fact that I don't feel protected at all by a status of pariah. And nobody is protected by this kind of decision. I'm not the only one who was the target of harassment by other players on this contest, I know at least one player who rage quitted the whole forum and another one who nearly did. You have to realise that these public lynchings went way too far. I don't wish that but I would like to know how you would feel if one day, one of the victims of what you call "dramas" committed suicide. Are you aware of the judiciary consequences? Police authorities would scan the whole forum and they would probably close it. Do you really want to take such a risk? So ban this "tradition", not the victims. Is that your conception of justice? Never giving any strike to stalkers and banning their victims? I won't necessary come back after my ban is removed, because there are other conditions, including a true moderation and the end of chaos, but at least my honour would be safe. Not being pointed as a pariah is extremely important to me.

Can I just say that talking about someone committing suicide over a song contest is probably a new low for you and ruined any potential validity your argument may have had (although there really wasn't much of that to begin with). Stop being so dramatic, it's a song contest (where people are supposed to enjoy themselves), and your constant petty irrelevant dramas here and in other contests have been detracting from that for at least a year.
Aim higher.

Thank you for this brilliant demonstration that you didn't understand one single word of my message. So what? Because we don't think the same way, I would have to leave? You make me think about one of the former leaders of your country, who thought that modern art was decadent and should be banned. Did I shock you with this historical reference? I hope so. Because you shocked me with your words.

do you really think that someone could possibly suicide over an online community/song contest? Well I mean there people like you that take that contests so seriously but really? I get that you want to find excuses so you can be un-banned and return to the contest but this is clearly too much.

Did I shock you with this historical reference? I hope so. Because you shocked me with your words. I'm sorry but do you seriously think you're as smart as you think you are? You are just a baby who has nothing better to do than complaining about an online forum all day because he doesn't get what he wants. If you think you are the innocent victim of "public lynchings" then you are delusional, there are always two sides of the coin and there's a reason why everyone acts towards you the way they do. I don't care if you compare me to Hitler or anyone of similar kind, it just proves that you have absolutely no right to act all innocent and grown up and from my side you certainly don't deserve any respect either. I deleted my previous post because I didn't want to fuel the fire but at this point, I don't even care anymore. I think it would be better for you, and for everybody else, if you just left the forum. Sorry to say it this way, but I'm tired of your bullshit all the time.

This ends here.
The fact that we've stooped down as low as the suicide card - which is honestly blowing this whole petty drama out of proportion - says more than enough. If anyone disregards this message by continuing to cause drama, the staff won't be afraid to dish out warnings, or even temporary bans if necessary.

NOT YET THE RECAP JUST SOME UPDATES
The thread will remain locked until I post the recaps.
The point of the NowNewMusic Contest is to show off new music from all over the world, resulting in a showcase of musical diversity in contemporary times. No drama will ever take away the true essence of what this online song contest is about. The possibility of a contest is made through the efforts of not just the moderators, but also you, the participants. Whether you fail to qualify or win an edition, music is the main thing that brings the members of this forum together, building bridges that we otherwise wouldn't have been able to cross without the convenience of the Internet. What's important to value in an online environment is respect. Respect is the thing that builds bridges between different parts of the world, and once we lose that respect, the bridge burns away with it. The NowNewMusic Contest will continue to uphold its original purpose.
To quote this edition's presenter, SuRie: "Storms don't last forever, forever, remember We can hold our hands together Through this storm oh oh, through this storm, oh oh"
Also, how appropriate that my entry this edition is called "Sorry Not Sorry, Goodbye."
Another update: as you may know, several users had to miss out this edition for unfortunate reasons. With so much tension which had happened in the past few days that left me stressed out, I needed to relieve that stress by doing some generous acts. What acts? Well, there's three of them!
ALBANIA
Song - "Cika cika" Artist - Ardian Bujupi & Xhensila music video published June 01, 2018 I know it was released in June 1, but I wanted to make up for my mistake with niko , so I was fine with it.
JAMAICA
Song - "Alone" Artist - Halsey ft. Big Sean, Stefflon Don music video published May 30, 2018
UKRAINE
Song - "Sumassheshaya" Artist - Ani Lorak music video published May 30, 2018
This means we'll have 63 countries this edition. The format will stay the same like in the past several editions. We just have three more countries.
The recaps will be coming very soon. Stay tuned!
