Tbh I like how diverse this edition already is. Many countries sending something different from their usual song choices.

I feel like we've finally moved on from countries believing that in order to do well you need to send an electropop song with a lovely dubstep drop, Now people realize that the old tactics of lovely pop music won't work anymore and people actually need to start trying to send quality art and not a song from the country's top 40.

That's amazing progression for this contest, IMO.

I never even understood why the mentality of sending said electropop top 40 songs meant you would do well came to be, almost none of the recent winners (except for Kvo Ne Chu) were pop drop songs, And all were actually quite artsy.

If you ask me, this is a beautiful musical progression for not only this contest but the entire forums as a whole, The same old tactics don't work anymore, It's time to think outside the box.

I just remember in the 22nd edition there were so many fucking pop drop songs that pretty much all sounded identical, And now theres only a couple which is still fine because it allows the songs to stand out more.
