I do not usually like to put my thoughts into such conversations, but I feel like I have to intervene this time. I do agree with Mimis that referring to the particular NF is not a right thing to do. In my view, it sounds a bit unethical to the Filipino player now.

On the other hand, I do really understand how frustrating it is to organize a national selection and get manifold votes from players. Just for the record, there are only 5 people who always vote in my national selections: Jasna, Jozef, Peter, Anthony and Philip. I will, therefore, always help these people to decide their entries, whereas other people will occasionally/never reap from this "benefit". Because, after some time, I have started to utilize your "philosophy": I'll vote in those NFs whose organizers vote in mine. Simple as that.

Personally I am not capable of working with video editing programmes, hence I can't provide participants with a recap video whenever I organize a NF. However, to facilitate the voting procedure, I always add potential recap timeslots, so that whoever want to vote but have little time will just listen to 24/25 seconds in order to determine the winner of my national selection. Nonetheless, I still get very little amount of votes, even less than in your national selections. The last time I only got 5 votes in my Retro National Selection (however, one needs to consider the amount of participants in Retro Contest, as well) and the result was a tie. It was really a disappointing situation, but I couldn't do anything about it.

To sum up my thoughts: No one really hates neither you, nor your country or Latvian music industry. It is just people don't want to vote for several reasons. Personally, I am not interested in these reasons and I think we are no one here to judge people for motives why they do not vote. Again, I do understand that the whole situation makes you feel upset, but there is really nothing we (NF organizers) can do about it. I would, therefore, advise to keep on with your voting philosophy which I consider very fair. No need to react this way. Hope you will get more votes in your NF! Good luck!

Even if those 10 songs are collected in recap and you don't need to listen to full songs? Then I can't imagine, how hard it is for you to vote every edition with 20+ songs in a recap
