I haven't set my expectations high and hence, I am not disappointed by 20th place. Thanks to every player that voted for

Azerbaijani entry, especially

Iran the most. Moreover, I would have placed

Turkey and

Switzerland higher.

Omg I absolutely wasn't expecting that.

And for the semis Idk if I should laugh or cry at myself. I mean it's the 3rd time I'm winning it, but then in the final I'm just not able to get into the top 10 (or receiving

I got mixed feelings about the other results. However I like how close the results actually are in the end although it didn't look like that at some points.

Iceland gets into that top 3. I'm very happy that it didn't happen with that one tho since it's my last place in the final.

Omg that didn't just end up so high?

I really loved that song and there was never a doubt I'd vote for it. However itsflopping in the beginning made me a little bit scared for it.

From the others I find

Samoa (but predictable) and

Canada overrated. The list og the underrated entries is much longer, but the most notable ones are

Latvia and

Finland.

Also yeah I know my top 2 were very obvious. I'm obvs happy that

Spain got 9th place. Thats actually a shock considering it was in the right half for a very long time.

Do you already have an idea for the opening of the submissions for #65?

I can't believe that I made it to the top 3 again, my results lately are so incredible

I'm glad that this won because it's a really nice song (I gave it

). This is a well-deserved victory, Congratulations!
But somehow, I can't help blaming myself (that 2 points margin is haunting me) because I would have won if I had voted differently. I basically killed myself with my own hands (skull)

And besides, it happened for the second time, after losing by 1 point in #60 against South Korea to whom I gave

back then. But don't get me wrong, I'm very happy for scoring that well again so it's obviously compensating ^_^

About the rest of the results,

is underrated imo, but I'm happy to see

in the top 10

I can't wait for the 65th edition

Not exactly, I made it to the top 3 in #60, #61 and #62 (3 times in a row) and now in #64

well... I knew this outcome would happen again. Barely qualifying and then obvsly an average place in the final.

Anyway, the last editions I never commented on the results of this contest, however I'll do it now.
That's just because I have something to tell:

After 38 editions of participating, my time with

Russia is coming to an end.
"Only" 20 qualifications to the final, only 6 times getting into the Top 10 (especially with Helene Fischer lmao) and especially looking at my results in the 5th and 6th "decade" of WWWSC, I got tired of my bad results with the country I was born in. That made me quite depressed as I just didn't know what else to send that could fit the music taste of this community only a little bit. Especially in the last editions, I just didn't give that much effort in research compared to my first editions here.
So I took the step of quiting my beloved

Russia and giving it to someone else. My intention is to give the country to someone who is actually able to fit into this community a bit more (talking about music taste). Russia is a big ass country, and finding something suitable is actually harder than you might think. I hope my successor has more luck with that.

What about me?
You think I'll quit this contest forever? Lol no, I'll stay of course! I will still try to succeed with my kind of music, even if it won't very often haha

But what will be my next country?
So as you might know, I'm a born

Russian, however I have a

German residence permit. But Germany is already taken, so that's not an option. Going further into my heritage, there is a big part of

Ukrainian in me. My maternal grandmother is a born Ukrainian and my paternal grandmother has Ukrainian roots. However Ukraine is taken as well, this option will be also excluded.

What's left?
Well, there is only one country left I could be eligible to participate with. The country I'm talking about is the country where my mother and my maternal grandpa were born. Additionally, my mother spent her childhood in this country. She only left it when she was around 20 years old.
According to the wikia, this specific country has never participated in this contest before. I already talked to Mimis about this, so I'm actually quite excited to tell you now that...
