 Establishment of the Wraith Broadcasting Union After the inauguration of the newest Vyv, Toni De'Marco, Wraith has entered a new digital age when it comes to the broadcasting system. Previously predominated by independent journalists, news outlets, and directors, the Wraithian Government has come together to establish a better and more efficient way to regulate broadcasting within the country, allowing more international programming to be broadcast on air.
During a press conference with media outlets in the country, Toni stated she is in the process of recruiting a dedicated team of directors as well as a head director in order to ease the process of establishing the broadcasting union. Tentatively entitled the "Wraith Broadcasting Union", or the ''WBU'', Toni stated she has some exciting plans for the television and radio waves in the future. She also stated intentions of bringing in international programming to the Wraithian people, such as the Fantasia Song Contest, as well as a Wraithian version of the reality television series ''Big Brother''.
Furthermore, Toni stated more information regarding specific television shows and the like would be announced as contracts are confirmed. She intends to have the Wraith Broadcasting Union formed and efficiently operating as soon as possible, labelling it as a top priority for her. |

Frootish citizens live longer, happier and richer lives!
These headlines caused an euphoric enthusiasm throughout the entire state
of Frootania, a country torn by civil wars and international crisis in its
early form. Unsure and sceptical on how its culture, its way of life may
be received, and additionally thrown into political turmoil with multiple
resignations. Over the last months with the installation of a new forming
government in Frootania led by the left movement and supported by the com-
munist party, the country finally calmed down in what may be described as
the Frootish redemption, a concept ideal and unseen anywhere else but on
the Berellion peninsula in Central Wulfor. These rich lands, mostly encom-
passed by Demacia and Frootania have always been a natural barrier against
the outside, but also prevented the inner populus to grow.
Since adopting a new, stable and reform-based government, Frootania has
climbed the international charts in regard of public opinion on globali-
sation, health, equality, wealth distribution and the construction on a
welfare state meant to support all Frootish civilians on equal terms.
Remarkably around 34 - 39 percent of the overall population have felt
an increase in their happiness as a result of these reforms and new
life opportunities. Especially Southeronians, a previously surpressed
minority in the old Assasynia have shown an increase in wealth and
happiness that has twice quadrupled since the days of suppression
have ended about twenty months ago.

  HISTORIC TREE MONUMENTS BEING BUILT IN SIRENFOREST AND FORDIA
Suncoast, Sirenforest- The leaders of Sirenforest and Fordia met this morning to reveal their new joint project. Sirenforestian president Dilara Kazimova said that the monuments are planned due to the two countries remaining allies since Sirenforest was created. Fordian president Frances Drosel said that the monuments will hopefully ease the tensions in other countries.
A rundown on the monuments:
* The monuments will be trees, one in Suncoast, one in Istacle, and one in Krono, Fordia.
* The colors will be the colors of Sirenforest and Fordia's flags.
* The monuments will take about two to three months.
Presidents Kazimova and Drosel hope that this ray of light will be helpful.

 Newly opened Pacifican mall draws backlash from netizens
The netizens have recently been calling out a new mall in Larkin for its incomplete construction. Punta Tesoro Mall's announcement of its grand launch on 18 September previously left netizens anticipating for the event. The shopping mall offers 385,000 square feet over four storeys with 2,900 parking bays and about 210 retail outlets. It is also part of a series of new projects being built in the satellite city of Larkin, located in the northern part of Metro Ayala area. However, many are now concerned of the mall's "unfinished" parts after a Facebook user's photos showing the building's disheveled state went viral.
The unfinished parts were found at the back part of the mall.
    At the time of writing, the post has received over 7,000 shares, with many jokingly commenting that the mall was trying to be "eco-friendly"
while others sarcastically said perhaps the mall was going for a new trendy look
.
Recently, The Punta Tesoro Mall management responded to the backlash received and thanked them for the "constructive comments". The management later admitted that the mall is currently in its soft launching phase and went on dispute with the construction partners which resulted into slow cconstruction progress in the last minute

World News Freak Storm Develops on the South Wulaser Tropical Storm Inês brewing on the South Wulaser The Everish National Hurricane Centre has begun tracking an extraordinary storm, which has developed on the Southern Wulaser Ocean, baffling scientists all over.
A tropical wave emerged off the coast of Vradiazi late Sunday evening. Tropical waves are low-pressure systems associated with scattered thunderstorms and moderate wind, which are a common occurrence in tropical regions, including Latinica, and only a few develop into tropical cyclones in areas which are susceptible to cyclogenesis. Tropical cyclogenesis does not occur on the Southern Wulaser Ocean in normal conditions, due to harsh wind shear and low water temperatures in the basin. Areas where tropical cyclogenesis is more common include the Northern Wulaser Ocean, the Tritonian Ocean and the Lakadasian Ocean.
Scientists began noticing something off about the tropical wave on Monday, when instead of dissipating, it began to show signs of development. This isn't completely unknown on the Southern Wulaser either, but by Monday evening, meteorologists at the ENHC reviewing satellite footage were certain the system had acquired characterists commonly associated with tropical depressions - the lowest grade assigned to tropical cyclones. As such, they began monitoring the system more closely.
By Tuesday afternoon, the system began taking on the appearance of a tropical storm; in-depth analysis of the satellite data confirmed this to be true, to the scientists' bewilderment. The ENHC, which normally only monitors and issues advisories for the Northern Wulaser Ocean, began to issue advisories for the system on Wednesday morning, which has since been dubbed Tropical Storm Inês (Furacão Inês) by Aquian media.  The first advisory issued for Tropical Storm Inês by the Everish National Hurricane Centre The system is expected to remain stabile at winds of 65-75 km/h throughout the next few days, meaning it will comfortably remain a low-grade tropical storm. Inês is currently moving in a southwesterly direction, which is expected to curve more towards the south. Inês may make landfall in northern Aquia as early as Saturday afternoon, either as a tropical storm or tropical depression. The Aquian government has yet to issue any warnings or call a state of emergency, but is expected to take action in the coming days.
As the global climate warms, storms like this could become more common, warns ENHC meteorologist Daniel Gwyneth. In the past, subtropical systems may have also been present on the South Wulaser, but never in recorded history has a tropical cyclone like Inês formed on the basin.

NEW ANIMAL SPECIES DISCOVERED
A new species of Arctic starfish has been found off the coast of The Isle of Keye in  The White Havens
Scientists studying in the area are currently looking the eating habits of local Arctic Fox and Arctic Seal that live in the area.
It was noticed that the seals and foxes were digging into the ice and hunting under the surface of the water.
The Scientists Erntesto Gabrianni and  Mia Hurmmistien were to make the discovery as they found a tribe of these creatures clustered under the ice. A small sample have been taken to be observed and discussed in the scientific community. A huge discovery!!

PRESIDENT MEETS QUEEN PT. 12018-10-03 – Krono
Today, President Frances Drosel proudly welcomed  Queen Jill of Prunia in the Fordian capital Krono. With a military honour the meeting started in the Garden of Unity.
As Prunia joined the Northern Union this year, there were a lot of issues to discuss during a tour through Krono. For example, it is still unclear whether Prunia will adopt the Nordo as their currency or not.
This evening Queen Jill will inaugurate the renewed Westen-Zoo Krono including a brand new enclosure for lions, Prunia’s national animal.

A tradition held every year since its formation back in late 2017, the project, named on short OJOC, had donated the coins gained in the past years towards charity, volunteers going all around the world in order to give certain items, whether if it's food, clothes, school items or even promising to make several mandatory institutions in the region with the approval of the respective nation.
Due to the rapid evolution and spreading of the project, it goes to a noble cause. All the countries which have contributed with something are named on behalf of the project - and they're often rewarded by the Alkyrian parliament themselves.
...But what's OJOC, you may ask?
Nicknamed after a local "challenge" which occurred among the teenagers in Alkyria, the little project was named "One Jar, One Coin" by the founder Uldey Zarichov. The concept is relatively simple and it can be played as a mini game, suited for all ages:
1: The topic is chosen by the person/group from the start or if there's a subject mentioned already, go for it.
2: Maintain the topic subject in one way or another.
3: If anyone managed to deviate from it even at the slightest, simply show the jar and point at the person/group to put a coin in the jar.
4: Person/group puts coin(s).
5: Profit, and the game can keep on going.
This had been often used among people of all ages, no matter the social scale or age.
Even in summits hosted in Akureyri, when several members or head of delegations were incredibly distracted from the subject matter, this little "game" had been applied. Therefore, as long as they don't want to pay the money, they need to stay focused on the subject discussed. If not, someone will point that out and ask for the respective to place a coin (at least) into the jar. That simple.
(last year, the project arrived in the remote areas of  Harish Islands, where children received free toys, supplies and even going further as building an equipped accessible school near their homes)
The project "One Jar, One Coin" had also received a ton of backlash, claiming that it's just a way of "legally stealing money in order to put them in Alkyria's vault and spend them for their own purposes", in which the president has completely denied the allegations. It hadn't been found proves in which theft was involved, all the coins being entirely donated towards funding diverse institutions in remote areas, spending them on school supplies which would be donated or even necessities for the people living on the brink of poverty.
- But how did they get so many coins in order to fund so many things? -
Well, like we said previously, all the coins gained in the project's aftermath are going to be 150% used. If the funds are little, the Alkyrian parliament is gladly willing to donate a generous amount of money for the cause. The volunteers are secured both financially, security-wise, transport-wise and especially with resources and supplies to offer. If for constructions, Alkyria is willing to offer workers which cooperate with the local builders to make the respective institution.

Among the main countries contributing massively at this project had been  Kingdovania - and they will be the main destination for this year.
The nation had offered huge amounts of money in order to temporarily skip their turns in giving the coins, and the volunteers in Kingdovania had drastically multiplied, willing to help at need. Alongside the Ministers of Education and the founder of the project, the volunteers from around the world are planning to transform several worn out buildings in inaccessible villages into something more useful for the community.
The project "One Jar, One Coin" hopes in the end to reach all nations and offer the people which are in tough moments another reason to smile again. Currently, besides Kingdovania, the project is aiming in the future towards  Corzazjan,  Ninelie,  United States of Eldance, Fordia and  Flirskmasto. |
