河川鳥杏のニュース:3 巻 News from Qasentria - Vol. 3 LaSalle Ward, Marianne, 1 October 2023
New Day, New Demographics A festival in Shikagawa, Shiraoi The nation of Qasentria has been known to be a hub for immigration, as the nation has rapidly rose to the top of Southern Serica. Likewise, it was known for a while that the census data for the nation was quite outdated. As such, a census was called to get a more accurate call of the nation. The last census listed the nation's population at 29,361,925. However, the census revealed that the population of Qasentria more than doubled in the decade since the last census to 61,340,258. Likewise, this now means that Qasentria is the fifth most densely populated nation in all of Fantasia, as the population density of 211 people per square kilometer, being only behind Llort's 257, Evergreen's 264, Baesnia's 267, and Juliana's absurdly dense 515.
"I knew we had a lot of population growth but jesus fucking christ," said Hasegai Yoko, a student from Shiraoi, "It makes sense, but I didn't realise it was that much"
Choçon, Breycia, hone to one of the languages that got promoted to official status
Likewise, with the new census, a new study was conducted on the languages of the nation to see if there should be any changes. There were several that were made.
The official languages had nothing removed, but Siuzaatan and Amelian were promoted to the official languages tier. Both of those languages are found extensively in the island of Xiaozha, and the speaking of both is quite common across the nation, leading to their promotion.
In terms of recognised national languages, Amelian got promoted to national language. However, the other two ones, Flírsk and Latinican, were removed from the recognised national languages. Flírsk was removed because the nation added Flírsk to help build up trade with Flírskmasto. However, now that Qasentria is one of the powers in Serica, there really isn't any reason to have the language. Likewise, many of the speakers of Flírsk moved back to either Wedse or Flírskmasto, As such, there really isn't any reason to continue to have the language as a nationally recognised language. Latinican is in a similar situation, and it was removed from the list of recognised national languages.
In regards to recognised regional languages, Siuzaatan was promoted to a national language. However, Qasentrian Standard Creole (QSC) was removed from the list. The language was created as a way to make one recognised Lakadamian Creole for the nation, but many people who learned the language found it to be quite racist in it's nature. To replace it, Ceresian (Haitian Creole) was added, as it is the most widely spoken Lakadamian Creole in the nation. In addition, two wholly unique languages to Qasentria were added to the list of recognised regional languages. One of these is Anse-ngá (Lingala), which is getting it's first major time in the international spotlight, with Lova Lova singing in it at the upcoming Fantasia Contest. In addition, Choçonic (Kanak languages hybrid) was added to the list, following years of campaigning by leaders of the Choçonic peoples, as a way to preserve their cultural identity. Both Choçonic and Anse-ngá are only really spoken in the regions of Choçon and Anse-a Veau in Breycia, but both have such a unique cultural footprint on the Qasentrian cultural map.

Referendum • Zuétanie • Azurîles • Regional Languages
| Two referendums for two regional languages. |
Following a recent vote in the Lakadamian parliament allowing all of the territorial governments to add regional languages without the need to become an autonomous territory, two of the archipelago territories, Azurîles in the east, and Zuétanie in the south, have since been drafting a referendum project to submit to their population for the addition of one regional language in each territory, for the Azurîles, it is the local Azurean (irl: Tahitian) that was submitted to the votes, while in Zuétanie, it's a collection of Creoles, all named after the islands it originates from, combined into one ensemble, the Zuétan Creole (irl: Guadeloupean/Martiniquais Creole)
The referendums were held on Friday 29 September in both territories, and were a success in terms of voters in both archipelagoes, with 77% of voters in Azurîles and 82% of voters in Zuétanie, where debate got a little bit heated
Both languages now require a final vote by both territorial parliaments to be considered approved, votes that are set to happen during the upcoming week.

Dýrian news update: September 2023 DRTV Fréttir September 2023 DRTV Nuacht Meán Fómhair 2023 DRTV Tíðindi September 2023 DRTV Nevezioù Gwengolo 2023
It's been a while, but here are the latest news updates from the hottest Northern girlie, Dýria.
Slán "Irsan", dia dhuit "Gaeilandic"!Bratach na nGaeilgeoirí, the flag that represents the Gaeilandic speakers in Dýria.
Earlier this month, on September 16th, Conradh na Gaeilge, the main regulator of the formerly known Irsan language in Dýria, voted unanimously to change the official name of the language in Everish from "Irsan" to "Gaeilandic". The reason for the change was that the old name does not accurately reflect upon the history and culture of the Gaeilandic people, who live in Dýria; whose language is officially the 2nd most spoken native language in the country and was historically one of only two languages used in government, alongside Dýrian. You can see that the new name also reflects it's native name of Gaeilge.
Síofra Ní Dhomhnaill, head of Conradh na Gaeilge, stated that the change was "historic" and finally "accurately represents the culture and heritage of one of our four languages". Prior to the vote, over 81% of Dýrians polled were in favour of changing the name of the language.
The change also has governmental support. The Taoiseach, Sinéad Kýosdóttir, a native speaker of the language, welcomed the change and, on the 19th of September, brought forward a bill to recognize the language as Gaeilandic from now on. The bill had unanimous support, with a vote of 96-7 in favour of changing it. As of the 30th of September 2023, the government now refers to the language as Gaeilandic when referring to it in Everish.
Protection of Regional Languages Bill 2023 passes with unanimous supportIn other language-related news, a bill brought forward by the leader of the opposition and of the Diria d'Ar Vretoned party, Fañch Ragnarsson on Thursday, 28th of September, passed successfully with 100 votes in favour, with 2 against and 1 abstention. 2 members were not present for the vote. All governmental parties, the Dýrian Democratic Party (DDP), An Comhaontas Glas (CG) and the People's Party of Dýria, alongside all of the oppositional parties, Diria d'Ar Vretoned (DAV), Sjølandiskt Framtíð (SF), Dlúpháirtíocht-Solidarity (DLÚ-SOL), Independence Party (IP) and Dýrian Progressive Party (DPP) voted in favour of the motion. The one TD of the far-right party Dýrian National Front and 1 independent voted against, while 1 independent TD abstained.
The bill extends governmental protection of 4 regional languages in Dýria. These are: Kernowese (Cornish) - Kernowek Estlandic (Manx) - Gaelg Pohunskan (Scottish Gaelic) - Gàidhlig Cymrian (Welsh) - Cymraeg
This means that the government has a duty to protect and promote the 4 languages in the country. The bill also allows for funding of media and schools across the country through the medium of those languages, both nationally and regionally. Regional authorities have a higher responsibility to ensure that the languages are allocated the appropriate funding to help the community of speakers in each language. These languages are of cultural importance in Dýria, having had communities of speakers living in the country for centuries.
The Taoiseach called the bill historic which would guarantee the survival of these languages in Dýria for years to come by promoting and expanding access to the languages across the country. She also praised her Brittonic colleague, Mr Ragnarsson, for introducing the bill and hailed the unanimous vote.
Conradh na Gaeilge is already in the process of creating special courses for both Estlandic & Pohunskan in Dýria, and is hoping to reach out to their colleagues in Pohunskia to provide opportunities for learners of the language to visit areas of the country and immerse themselves in the language.
Meanwhile, Ofis Publik ar Brezhoneg, the official regulator of the Brittonic language, has continued to enhance their Kernowese courses and has pledged to create a special course in the Cymrian language due to their similarities.
Dýria has also passed 1 million people recently. The population now stands at 1,260,357 as per the 2023 census. The official breakdown is yet to be revealed by the CSO (Central Statistics Office) however it is very likely that they will be revealed in October 2023.And finally, why not fill in our foreign relations form if you have a moment? Trivania's New Flag Flies High: Positive Referendum Results Lead to Flag ChangeDate: October 1, 2023Halipia, Trivania - In a historic moment for the nation of Trivania, a new flag has been officially adopted, following a resoundingly positive referendum that saw overwhelming support from its citizens. This change marks a significant step in the country's journey toward redefining its identity on the global stage.
After weeks of anticipation, Trivanians woke up to a new symbol of their nation today as the new flag was hoisted across the country, replacing the old one that had been in use for years. The decision to change the flag was made after months of public debate and discussions within the Trivania National Assembly, ultimately leading to a nationwide referendum. The new Trivanian flag that will replace the old flag as from now.
Overwhelming Support for Change
The referendum, held on September 20th, saw an astonishing 78% of Trivania's eligible voters cast their ballots in favor of adopting the new flag. The campaign for the flag change was marked by spirited public discourse and engagement, with passionate supporters of the new design citing the need for a fresh symbol that represents a modern and inclusive Trivania.
The new flag of Trivania features a white-orange diamond in its center, which serves as a powerful emblem rich in symbolism. This emblem has been carefully designed to represent various aspects of Trivania's culture, history, and aspirations. Let's analyze the symbolism of the white-orange diamond:
Unity and Inclusivity: The use of a diamond shape itself suggests unity and inclusivity. Unlike a rectangular or square shape, a diamond has no clear orientation, indicating that Trivanians are a diverse people coming together from all directions. It symbolizes the idea that Trivania is a nation that values every citizen, regardless of their background, and welcomes them to be a part of the nation's story.
Orange Color: The prominent orange color within the diamond represents energy, enthusiasm, and creativity. It symbolizes the vibrant spirit of Trivanians and their determination to create a dynamic and progressive society. This color also signifies the warmth and hospitality of the nation's people, making it a welcoming place for both citizens and visitors.
White Color: The white color within the diamond is often associated with purity, peace, and harmony. It reflects Trivania's commitment to maintaining peace within its borders and promoting unity among its citizens. White also represents transparency and open-mindedness, highlighting the nation's dedication to open dialogue and inclusivity.
Diamond Shape: The diamond shape, aside from its inclusive symbolism, can also represent strength and resilience. Just as a diamond is formed under immense pressure, Trivania has overcome its own challenges and emerged stronger, symbolizing the nation's ability to adapt and thrive in the face of adversity.
Central Placement: The fact that the white-orange diamond is placed centrally within the flag emphasizes its importance. It serves as the heart of the flag, signifying that these values of unity, creativity, purity, and resilience are at the core of Trivania's identity.
Contrast: The contrast between the white and orange colors in the diamond creates visual interest and symbolism. It signifies the dynamic interplay of different elements within Trivania, from tradition to progress, and how these elements complement each other in the nation's development.
Continuity and Change: The use of a new emblem in the flag suggests a commitment to both continuity and change. While the emblem is a fresh addition, it respects the past while embracing a forward-looking vision for Trivania. It symbolizes the nation's readiness to evolve and adapt while preserving its cultural heritage.
In conclusion, the white-orange diamond emblem at the center of Trivania's new flag encapsulates the nation's core values of unity, creativity, purity, and resilience. It serves as a visual representation of Trivania's commitment to inclusivity, progress, and the harmonious coexistence of diverse elements within the nation. This emblem is a reflection of Trivania's dynamic identity and its aspiration for a bright and inclusive future.
Global Reactions
The change in Trivania's flag has not gone unnoticed on the global stage. Leaders from around Fantasia have sent their congratulations and expressed their support for Trivania's democratic process.
A New Era for Trivania
With the new flag now flying high across Trivania, the nation has embarked on a new era of unity and hope. The positive referendum results have reinforced the idea that Trivanians are ready to shape their future together, building a society that reflects their diverse and evolving values.
As Trivania's new flag flutters in the breeze, it serves as a visible symbol of the nation's commitment to progress and inclusivity, reminding its citizens and the world that change can be a powerful force for unity and renewal.

- KBS News -More Languages to Be Recognized After multiple discussions, conferences, and referendums between communities and the government, several languages spoken in Kuwiang has now gained an official recognition as below:
• Amelian (IRL: Chinese) Amelian is spoken within the Kuwianish Amelian communities throughout the nation. With the successful integration of historic Amelian immigrant communities in Kuwiang, a significant number of Kuwianish Amelian are the descendants of intermarriages between ethnic Amelian and native Kuwianish. The Amelian people immigrated to Kuwiang due to trading, a close relationship between the two countries, and conflicts within Amelia in the past. Nowadays, most of Kuwianish Amelian live in the coastal area and the northern region of Kuwiang. Today, nearly all ethnic Amelian in Kuwiang speak the local language exclusively, mostly Kuwegian and Ayuthayan. Only a small percent of Kuwianish Amelian still speak Amelian at home. However, the rise of Amelian prominence on the regional economic stage and the strong relationship between Kuwiang and Katsyria has prompted many Kuwianish Amelian and Non-Amelian Kuwianish to see Amelian as a beneficial asset in boosting their business and career opportunities. Amelian is also a popular 3rd language to be taught in schools along with Naminorish. As a result, Amelian has been promoted to national language due to its importance and as a way to preserve the language, becoming the first and only to gain the said status. Will Jay, the first Kuwianish entrant at the Fantasia Contest, is partially Kuwianish Amelian.
• Western Pengerian (IRL: Indonesian) Pengerian (Pengerian: Bahasa Pengerang), formerly known by the exonym Malyiese, is spoken mainly in the Pengerang in the southern region. There are 2 varieties of Pengerian spoken in Kuwiang: Western Pengerian, spoken in Phlu Ta Luang and the western side of Pengerang, and Eastern Pengerian (IRL: Malaysian), spoken in Thap Sadet (partially) and the eastern side of Pengerang. However, only the Eastern variety was officially recognized by the government as the standard version. After several campaigns and a referendum from the locals to protect their culture, Western Pengerian has gained regional language status. Fazerdaze, who will represent the nation in the upcoming edition of the Fantasia Contest, is the first Western Pengerian Kuwianish entrant.
• Namimorish (Jaranese) (IRL: Japanese) Namimorish is spoken in the eastern region of the country by the Namimorish minorities who reside in the country predominantly in Thap Sadet, which is known as “the Home of Kuwianish-Namimorish), and other areas that border Namimori. The language gained wider acceptance and recognition within the country after the boom of Namimorish media and culture within Kuwiang. Due to its rising popularity and the close relation between the two countries, Namimorish is now a popular choice for 3rd language study. Thus, Namimorish has been recognized as a regional language by the government. • Hailiniese (IRL: Vietnamese)
Hailiniese is spoken by the Hailiniese minorities who reside in the upper eastern and northern provinces, especially in the districts that border Namimori. Hailiniese has also been granted regional language status as a way to protect the culture. Johnny Hwin, a member of Cathedrals who represented Kuwiang at the 29th Fantasia Contest, is a son of Kuwianish Hailiniese refugees who now live in Golden Land. Kuwiang Unveils New Flag Following Referendum Victory New Kuwianish Flag
In a historic moment, Kuwiang has officially revealed its new national flag, marking a significant change after a resounding victory in a nationwide referendum. The decision to adopt this symbol of unity and progress reflects the aspirations and values of the country's diverse population.
The flag change process, which began after months of deliberation, culminated in a celebratory ceremony attended by citizens from all walks of life. The new flag embodies the collective vision for the future, emphasizing unity, inclusivity, and a fresh start for Kuwiang.
The decision began with the intention to improve the visual of the old Kuwianish flag but keeping the symbols and message. • The blue cross, stretching across the flag, symbolizes the abundant waterways that crisscross the land, from the tranquil rivers to the expansive lakes and the vast ocean. Water, the lifeblood of the nation, represents the connection to nature and their reliance on its nurturing flow. • Yellow quadrants radiates vibrancy and hope, representing prosperity and the lush rice fields that have sustained Kuwianish people for generations. The farmers, often regarded as the backbone of the nation, find their toil and dedication honored in this rich golden hue. • The flag's green quadrant pays homage to Kuwiang's breathtaking natural landscapes and abundant resources. It serves as a reminder of the importance of preserving the environment and safeguarding the precious heritage for future generations. • The pristine white cross at the center of the flag embodies purity and peace, signifying Kuwiang's commitment to harmony and unity within the diverse society. It is a beacon of hope, guiding the nation toward a future free from conflict and division. • The central placement of the cross serves as a powerful symbol of unity, reinforcing the collective journey towards a brighter and more harmonious future. It reminds the populace that despite the differences, Kuwianish people stand as one, bound by the shared values and aspirations represented in the new flag.
Updated Census for 2023 A new has been conducted and published by the Kuwianish government. As of 2023, Kuwiang has a population of 28,735,125 people, gaining over 10 million people compared to the former census. The updated census also provides detailed information on the ethnic groups living in Kuwiang, with Kuwegian being the biggest residents at 38.9% following by Ayuthayan (30.9%), Bamarese (9.4%), Kuwianish Amelian (7.3%), Namimorish (5.4%), East Pengarian (3.5%), West Pengarian (3.2%), and Hailiniese (1.4%). The summarized overall information can be accessed from below.

Pohunskan News Pohunskia First Party Goes Through Major Change with New Leader!Pohunskia First, a party known for hatred and discrimination towards all kinds of minorities is now set to change. The new leader Hana Durchenwald said she will rebrand the party but still keep the core principles of Pohunskia for Pohunskia. Her victory speech was described as being erratic and a bit unhinged. However, it set out the new stances of the party that may lead to them winning their first seat in the next Pohunskan election, which is quickly approaching. Our report was able to record her victory speech, "Hey guys, girls, theys, whatever I don't give a shit. You elected me to be your new leader after the TRAVESTY of our last leader, Who was a CRAZY DUMBASS who judged people SHE DIDN'T FUCKING KNOW, *fixes her hair* I won't come up here on this cheap ass podium going, "oh my god, I'm giving everyone rights blah blah", I'm going to FIGHT FOR MY COUNTRY, Not by saying everyone who is gay or whatever should have no rights, I will give you rights if you're NOT A FUCKING DUMBASS, If you come here and act entitled guess what? BYEEEEE YOUR RIGHTS ARE GONE, I don't care if you're a white straight guy your rights are GONE, Also, I should be able to buy my Sunbucks coffee without BEING FUCKING TAXED, I want Sunbucks and live oookkkkkaaaaay? *She pauses sighing loudly as if she is not bothered* If you don't like these changes to this party, Guess what? LEAVE YOU DUMB ASS, Have fun losing again with your nasty opinions. Bye *walks away from the podium and the audience cheers* We spoke to a few people out on the streets and the general consensus was fear, confusion and general disbelief that she was in our political system. However, the polls in Magyarza suggest that she may win a seat there but may fail to become a minister in the next upcoming election but we have to wait and see. (just to note the person who is Pohunskia does not endorse any candidates this is just political roleplay for a populist politician). The Cooperation Party Elects New Leader! The Cooperation Party also elected a new leader, Linda Fay. Described as being reserved and professional, Linda Fay has had a career as a Lawyer and is now a politician wanting to bring professionalism back to the Cooperation Party. She is a strong believer in the Pohunskan election system claiming that it is the reason why we are so stable. Despite being the leader of the centre-right party, she is a strong believer in LGBT+ rights and believes that if the Cooperation Party opens up to the LGBT+ community they will join and openly support her. While her speech was not as loud and unhinged as her opponent Hana Durchenwald, Linda Fay made a great impression on the party that elected her as leader. "Party members, it is the honour of my life to be the leader of a party I have dedicated most of my life to, We are a party of stability in times of populist figures like Hana Durchenwald who think shouting makes her right, Our party must stay Strong and Stable in these trying times!" *Sips water* "I may not be as energetic and loud as Hana but I am just as dedicated to helping my country succeed! We are a country of many, A country of strong foundations that the Social Democrats want to uproot and change, Causing populist figures to shout and gain support. Our voting system and our government structure are what has given us hundreds of years of peace and growth, We have to protect our system or it risks collapse! *audience cheers, she waits for it to die down* I will protect our institutions, I will help businesses to grow, I will help Pohunskia grow! *loud cheering fills the room* People in the Social Democrats think I don't have a vision, But I do, I have a vision of a strong and stable Pohunskia for every one of us! I am proud of Pohunskia for being the country of LGBT+ rights, Where we treat people equality no matter who they are, But the Social Democrats' changes have brought the rise of the Pohunskia First Party! *Cheers flood the room again* I will fight for our institutions, I will fight for the country I love! *She walks from the podium waving at the audience and camera as deafening cheering fills the room* ( Callum ), ( Lars ), ( Aliya ), ( тнєяσиттi95 ) ( αndreas ), ( fuerte (inactive) ), ( Dylan ), ( Apostolis ), ( Eke ), ( kev ), ( ᴛᴏᴍ ᴋʟᴏsᴇʀ ), (@garameaning), ( Jacob ), ( Lᴇꜰ ), ( Lux ), ( Syr ), ( Matt ), ( agni ), ( Ste ), ( Argüello ), ( jhr0953 ), ( Anesović ), ( TitleTheNon ), ( Luiri ), ( Julian ), ( Matilda ), ( MaRtIn ), ( Kinoshita! ), ( Wysteria ), ( alexeh ), ( justin05 ), ( Wys ), ( Logan ), ( Chante™ ), ( alex(a)bg ), ( hayashi 🇺🇦🇵🇸 ), ( Daniel ), ( Oisín ), ( Jakub ), ( uhsting ), ( kepanoo ), ( CHAE WITH A C ), ( Llemian ), ( Alper ), ( eurovisionfan23 ), ( Fat Nepal ), ( jara ), ( suyana ), ( Sel ), ( Alex Memphis ), ( George J. ), ( Kyron ), ( Jmain ), ( мιɴтιѕѕe ), ( inactivo (nq era) ), ( basil ), ( fromawindow ), João ( Aless ), ( (inactive) ), ( Tobbz ), ( ~Rethnas~ ), ( Bow ), ( Jens ), ( How Bogs How Blue ), ( Levi21 ), ( Dimitris ), (domas), ( H U M A N ), (maxim), ( ClassifiedCat ), flagfyjland ( lucariocz ), ( joshua ), ( manos ), ( kacper ), ( ✨💃 ), ( Euu ), ( Francisco ), ( InazumAddict23 ), ( MG ), ( Jeffry ), ( ʜᴇᴀʀᴛ ᴀᴛᴛᴀᴄᴋ ), ( holidayyyyyyy ), ( 𝐌𝐈𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐋 ), ( hannahannah ), ( konrαd ), ( anto9lee ), ( Coco (Inactive) ), ( Queen of Mean (Inactive) ), ( yakbhumi ), ( Josh's Tattoo (Inactive) ), ( Holland ), ( 𝐴𝑑𝑟𝑖𝑎̀ ), ( Christian NO (inactive) ), ( Jericho (Super inactive) ), ( Anton ), (escjessicauk), ( Blandine ), (kenajabam), ( ROBERT 💙 ), ( ✨ Forrest ✨ ), ( nick ), ( Aglan ), ( SBINNALA ), ( Niklas ), (sebber), (xescfr3akx), ( B3STBEATS ), ( Percy Yates ), ( ukraineofcourse ), ( Lewis ), ( Grace ), ( ough ), ( Sylwia )

City council experiencing an influx of noise complaints over a certain song being played in clubs.
Christina Aguilera (pictured) is the culprit, with her song "Your Body" being notably loud.
Sjóborg City Council has been receiving an unusual amount of noise complaints recently over what residents have stated is a "notoriously loud song", that is "louder than any other song that is being played in clubs or bars". Intrigued, the city council decided to investigate the complaints being made and came to an interesting conclusion. The song that many residents have been complaining about is the 2012 single "Your Body" by Christina Aguilera.
The song recently became popular in Dýria and was subject to several memes and edits on social media due to it being notably very loud. It became so popular that it re-entered the Dýrian music charts at #30, and has been played again in many clubs and bars across the country, as well as by fans of the song, obviously.
However for many residents of Sjóborg, they have had enough. They particularly noted that the final choruses were deafening and it's contributing towards noise pollution in this country. They have specifically written to the Sjóborg City Council, the 2nd largest local authority outside of Dyflinnjaborg, the capital city, to restrict the song being played after 11 pm and before 7 am across the city. These would be similar restrictions to that of flights arriving into Sjóborg Airport as the airport is close to residential buildings. Some have suggested banning the song fully because of alleged noise pollution.
However the city council has today stated that they would not be acting to restrict the song in any way, even though they do agree the song is quite loud. They argue that since it is confined to only a few places in the city, there would be no reason to restrict the song in general across the city and has advised people to be vigilant and considerate of their neighbours instead, and has reiterated their warnings towards clubs & bars that they must continue to follow the rules.
The mayor of Sjóborg, Hulda Snæbjörnsdóttir, stated while listening to the song: "It's loud, but it's a bop! She is just using her voice to make a statement. Although I would not recommend blasting it at 4am with neighbours around... We all know this already. There's no point restricting/banning the song"
Christina Aguilera has been contacted to comment on the situation.

Singing Man Namisentria 6 Caused Some Drama (TW Transphobia) Singing Man Namisentria 6 winner Liao Chih-siou (competing as ChihSiou) at the Golden Melody Awards Red Carpet The long-awaited return of Singing Man Namisentria recently concluded, but to say that there was some drama involved in the competition would be an understatement at best. To kick things off, Hsíungyuán, Xiaozha-based artist Liao Chih-siou, who was competing as ChihSiou, with the song "Méiyǒu wǒ dì nàgè yǔjhòu" (沒有我的那個宇宙), was the focus of some internet drama prior to his victory. Several members of the Conservative party were already upset by the fact that the lineup featured no white artists, with 3 Xiaozhan acts, 2 Yukonominan acts, 4 black acts, and a Hongbese act competing to represent Qasentria in Trivania. However, many of these members soon forgot about this, and turned their attention to ChihSiou, as he was deemed to be "too queer" to represent Qasentria on this stage. This only started following a twat put out by Liao after a news show covering the national final refered to him as a woman, and his twat said:
The reaction from several members of the Qasentrian media were overwhelmingly positive, with the vast majority of Qasentrian netizens supporting him. Lauren Auder, who represented Qasentria in Norvispeze, was quoted as saying, "The vitriol ChihSiou is facing is something that came my way, being a trans woman in the public eye and all that, but what he's experiencing is far worse. Too many people with disgusting takes have access to the internet, I fear. I would be shocked but the people making the most noise are the ones who live in a delusional world where whatever gods that exist made Qasentria as a haven for white people. I know Ruby [ Flower Face], Clara [Ysé], and I have represented Qasentria before, but we aren't the majority in this nation. I will say, seeing the reaction of the majority of people online gives me hope for the future."
Following Liao's victory at the national final, a number of members of the Conservative party threated to immigrate to other nations, primarily in Wulfor. Many prominent Qasentrian celebrities responded to this wave by saying, "Don't threaten us with a good time."
Sadly though, that isn't the only controversy that arose from this contest.
An unnamed Tremenorian juror photographed getting on a plane back to Tremenoria During the jury showcase for the Qasentrian semi final of Singing Man Namisentria 6, the Tremenorian jurors who sat on the judging panel were caught for rigging their votes to benefit a handful of songs. Those songs in question were the ones performed exclusively in Everish. The votes that they submitted had a very obvious and detected pattern, and this wasn't the first time something like this happened. In response, the Tremenorian jurors were kicked out of their position, deported back to Tremenoria, and the QBA has announced that they would be severing ties with TeleMundial in all capacities except for the off-chance that Qasentria hosts the Fantasia Contest. But who was the one who tipped the QBA off about this?
Nailah Blackman (left) singing with Skinny Fabulous at the Singing Man Namisentria 6 Afterparty Yeah, Nailah Blackman, who was actively participating in Singing Man Namisentria 6 at the time, was the one who tipped off the QBA about the potential rigging. This was despite the fact that she would have received top points from the Tremenorian juries. She found out about this as she went to the bathroom during the interval act between AiNA THE END and Adekunle Gold and Zinoleesky. The Tremenorian jurors were talking about how there was a "saddening lack of songs in Everish," and she didn't hesitate to message Nzabava Fatoumata Asifiwe about this.
Kwak Chaeyeon announced that to thank Nailah for her selfless act, the QBA would be inviting her to compete again in the next edition, with a direct spot in the final. Kwak announced that the votes that Tremenoria submitted gave Nailah their 12 points, and this impacted the decision that the QBA came to.

Films are a pasttime that many Qasentrians enjoy, but one that is slated for release soon is expected to shatter records for any film. One Love is a biopic about the life of the legendary singer Bob Marley. Made in collaboration with Marley's wife Rita, son Ziggy and daughter Cedella, the film is projected to make over Ꝡ3 billion in sales, which would break the current record by a massive margin.
