Just like I said before, I'm not participating this time either. However I'll obvs be back next time and for the new decade I collected a very few songs (which will most likely suck lol) by famous people (or who at least were so back in the day)
 France was about to send a "boring female entry" (according to the  Swiss delegation) so our participation is uncertain for the first time in 35 editions. If I were you I wouldn't get distracted by the comment of one single user... Just go your own way and send what you want to send Agree there! That was just a stupid comment of mine and I really didn't think about what I may cause with it... :/ I'm deeply sorry for what happened and italix hope you can accept my apology. |

I really didn't understand why you said that. I mean, you're free to think that one entry is boring, but I've sent 34 entries so far so when you said I "always" send boring songs, that was a bit too much, especially after the worst results since a while. From my point of view, France is by far the hardest country I've ever hosted, especially in the unique retro contest of the forum, so I have no clue of what artists you know/like/may like/hate. I wish I had a stock of "obvious top 3" songs, which would give me opportunities to send moire experimental choices. Almost every French artist has a big question mark next to his name. So choosing my songs is never easy, and I'm always stressed when come the results, because I have no clue if I'll get a brilliant victory or a humiliating one digit score. The worst thing is that most of the time, I have absolutely no idea why some of my songs don't work well (is this the artist or something wrong with the song itself?), because explanations are extremely rare. All of that is disturbing enough, so I clearly don't need remarks like that. But since you apologised I think we can get over this. People asked me to maintain my participation and it would be quite immature to withdraw now so, I decided that: 1) France would participate. 2) However, I decided to change the French entry, and the fact that Canada is hosting is a good opportunity to send this one from my waiting list... |
