 Slovakia withdraws. Thank you for everything and I wish you all the best.  This is really not pleasant to hear from you Jozef.  I hope you're back some day and get to bring us some great alternative music from  Slovakia, as you've been doing that for quite a lot of years now. However those metal bands with hardly any good photos online are not welcome to take part again  |

(this one would work perfectly as a fade at the the banner behind Ilkan) Firstly, the images are actually in black & white, which means they cannot be accepted, and secondly, the upper part of the head is cut in the 2nd photo so I guess none of those images is good enough. I could possibly find some images myself, unless you want to suggest some new ones.  |

Time to present you my 40th entry as well - in a proper post this time!
After yesterday evening's results of #65 I was really thinking about what I should send now. In fact I've had 2 2017 songs on my mind for the next 2 editions, but then they turned out to be probably too boring so I (a bit randomly) went for a very recently released song.
Without any further do may I present you:
Baschi - LSG
(It's an abbreviation for  "Liebe, Sex und Geld" which translates to  "Love, Sex and Money)
For the recap please use the first chorus (the first female part) which I think begins at 1:06.
Although he's one of my most successful artists I've ever sent to the Retro contest, I've never planned to send Baschi here. That's mainly because he rather sucks nowadays. However earlier this month this song was released. As you can hear there are lots of different voices to be heard. That's basically because it's in fact a distrack against himself.  And for that several famous singers (you may actually recognize a few of them since quite a few of them already competed in WWWSC / Retro WWWSC themselves.) were asked if they wanted to contribute to it. The result is a funny and catchy pop song with lots of puns. |
