Here is the official post of my entry as I couldn't do it earlier due to my trip ^^ I've sent a few different entries this decade so far. I wasn't so fortunate with male acts. Metal didn't work, also an alternative indie band didn't, while female pop acts had no bigger problems qualifying. This time, I'm looking to change that. I'm sending a proper rock band. They banded together in 2010 when they were just teenagers. I discovered them three years ago. They are compared to our most successful rock band Siddharta. Probably because the main singers have similar voices and they both mostly sing in Slovene. Imset just released their new album Persona and our next entry is a part of it: Imset - Jadrava ["We Sail" (in duality)] If you mention NVSC I'll fite you :B

Canada goes foreign for its defending entry! With Canada now hosting for the third time, CBC decided to go a different route. First, suggesting the song to F2 and SNRT, who chose to pass the song on with assent. With that being said, Canada will show its diversity with David Guetta's Battle, featuring the Moroccan-born Faouzia, who has lived in Canada since age of 5. (Guetta returns after finishing as the runner-up with Sia in the 23rd contest.)

The contest will be held in Montreal! After previously hosting Retro WWWSC 39, Montreal, QC will host the WWWSC 67!
See you in Montreal!

I actually expected No apology (or what's that song called?) to come.
I actually like that this time we're going to a region of the host country where the previous winner is from (or similar - 'cause Avril is special). However for some reason it lately feels a bit like we're recently always going to the same cities!

However for some reason it lately feels a bit like we're recently always going to the same cities! Not sure what you're talking about, but in 67 editions we've been to 66 different cities from what I can remember. 65 different cities That's a very impressive amount. Well I guess that feeling's coming from Tom's success in both contests and his 3 recent wins in them - it happens to make me confused lol.

The submissions are closed! Iran and United Kingdom withdraw, therefore El Salvador and Luxembourg are back, meaning we have 52 participants just as last edition. Thanks to everyone who submitted and best of luck!
We'll try our best to get the edition started asap.
