I personally don't agree at all with her being in such commercials, but all of this just seems like way too much. Laura alone is in a very young age of 16, plus she's in a very religious household, so it just feels like a lot of influences was part of this whole ordeal. And besides this commercial, I haven't exactly seen anything showing Laura having a big hate towards homosexual people? at least not from these 15 seconds alone. + the fact that this video just happened to circulate at the same time as the second semi final is rather suspicious. But in all honesty, not even I know how to react to this, and I'll probably wait until Laura herself has said something surrounding this messy situation.  The video was public and it was spread here in Romania during the campaign of the referendum. One of my friends shared this video on Twitter during Laura's performance and tagged all ESC media (like wiwibloggs). Eurovision Romania group is now a Third World War. You can't mess with religious Protestant people here as people got insulted (even myself) and threatened. As I said, I hope she wins and makes us flop just to prove that we cannot vote ourselves in May and that we should stop sending outdated songs! |

I actually think Laura's got the best song in this national final, but her mentality (even if influenced by her parents) does not corelate with the message she wants to spread. Laura HAS TO ADRESS the video she made (which is in no way a fake), or otherwise she will be CRITICIZED. Not as much by Romanians as she will be by international press.
