I remebered this topic so why not "teach" you some more words in portuguese personal pronouns I - eu You - Tu (in an informal way) He - Ele She - Ela We - Nós You - Você (in a formal way) They - Eles (for boys), Elas (for girls) Numbers: 1 - um 2 - dois 3 -três 4 - quatro 5 - cinco 6 - seis 7 - sete 8 - oito 9 - nove 10 - dez 11 - onze 12 - doze 13 - treze 14 - quatorze 15 - quinze 16 - dezasseis 17 - dezassete 18 - dezoito 19 - dezanove 20 - vinte

they are. except in the accent! De nada Glad to see you like portuguese! It's easy for you to understand it i guess because it's similar to spanish. I understand spanish but i don't even try to speak/write :/

Yeah, it's easy for me understand portuguese and I'm trying to to teach myself to portuguese. A lot of the words are the same and sometimes the pronunciation is the same than in Spanish... I have a question: I don't know when to use "tu" or "voçé" and "voçé" or "vós"...I searched it in google but depending of the zone it's different...In standard portuguese, which is the more usually used? Obrigado

"tu" it's used in an informal way, for example when you talk to your friends. "você" is used in a formal way. people that are older, or someone you don't know! In brazil they use "você" in both ways, but we make that difference. About the "você" and "vós"there isn't a difference. You can use both although people use more often "você". "vós" is more for the verbe tenses conjugations Hope i'd help
