WWW Song Contest #71

First of all, the voting was pretty exciting! I mean 1 point difference says pretty much everything.
The results are quite alright. There's just too many songs on the left side that I don't like. But there are also only 3 songs I haven't voted for that didn't make it top the top 11. The top 2 are a bit tragic, because it's (just like in #66) again Germany missing out against Canada by literally nothing!


A few picks:
Now that's what I call an unexpected winner. I mean it's a good song (and those vocals ), but I thought Faouzia was going to be in a lower top 10. I may have given her 0 points, but I'm happy with the winner.
That's not a very surprising one. Aly was actually my (and probably many others too) #1 guess for the win. Idm that Aly didn't win because despite that it's a good song, I find it overhyped.
Yay! Once I'm giving it (I think it's the first time ever I've done this in any regular contest lol) and it goes to top 5!  Would've preferred if it AQed tbh (because imo it's much better than Austria and Mexico) Also I'm happy that liking New Zealand, South Korea and Croatia (this one in particular!) for once also payed off!
Before the final of A Dal was held I took a listen to this, because it was leading with quite a gap in the forum's poll, found it horrific and really didn't get that "hype" about it. Apparently I went for a wrong video because Roses turned out to be amazing! Thought this would be a top 10 entry though.
Tbh. I like songs like this. Never expected it to go far, but I'm happy it almost reached the top 20.
If I may be honest, he should've sent the original version of Hey now, because to me the guy's parts kinda destroyed it imo... But then again I'm not Maltese and maybe there's something I've missed in here?


Mexico, Chile, Bosnia & Herzegovina are very overrated imo and Latvia (maybe it was a bit too monotonous - but it's certainly not a bad song!) is the most underrated entry this time. Also there are several others I didn't really care too much about. Most of them got a result on the right half.

About my own result:
Earlier today I was scared because I thought I might have been 8th in the semi and voted out by myself or the last voter - same also in the wildcard round. In the end I'm very happy both didn't "occur".
