I think it’s in the EBU’s best interest to just sweep the whole Hatari incident under a rug. They’re in a lose-lose situation rn where whatever action they take (or take none at all), will lead to harsh criticism. I think they won’t do anything more drastic than a mere fine, otherwise they would already create an unneeded distraction for the next contest. O.M.G Luca you did a great performance ..... It's not you is it? I would’ve chosen a better song...

How could Kosovo debut when it's not a real country? There are currently 114 countries disagreeing with your statement

A Kosovar entry would not be worth it as Serbia would definitely withdraw, loosing a high quality unique Balkan nation who always sings in their own language for what is pretty much a 2nd Albania. Kosovo singers should just sing for Albania (like Lindita and Rona Nishliu) or for Serbia (like Nevena) - They mostly identify more with one of those two nations than the idea of a Kosovar identity and it saves so much needless drama

Kosovo took part in major events recently like the World Cup (playoffs) and the Olympics, but Serbia didn't boycott them just because they have a problem with the admission of Kosovo, let alone the EBU and Eurovision.

Perhaps if Kosovo debuts, the Balkan voting bloc will grow stronger. They'll give out/feed off votes from Serbia and Albania and would actually give Albania a strong voting ally in addition to North Macedonia.

I personally support Kosovo's independence but for now Kosovo is not a real country. It is not in the UN. Russia also recognizes South Ossetia so that means it's a country, right?

Russia also recognizes South Ossetia so that means it's a country, right? There's a difference between a disputed territory which has only one country recognizing their independence and a disputed territory that has an independence recognized from over half of the UN members. Also, if being in the UN means that the territory/country officially exists does that mean Switzerland has been a country since 2002 as they joined UN back then? Edit: also being part of the UN isn't a requirement to participate in ESC, but being part of ITU or Council of Europe (which technically means you kinda have to be part in UN) has been a requirement, so I guess that's why we won't see Kosovo in a couple of years at Eurovision.
