It depends of the language, because maybe in your language it’s Netherlands but if you translate it literally into Romanian it would be “Țările de Jos” which sounds kinda meh because it literally is “Countries from the Low”. Basically nobody uses this lmao. Instead the term which is being used is Olanda which is basically Holland. But seriously why would someone be offended because of that, it isn’t even a big issue, compared to *coff* ~North~ Macedonia  I believe we were talking about the English language here, a language who actively uses the accurate translation of "De Nederlanden". Besides the issue might not seem big for foreigners but internally it definitely is. If you watched Britains got talent tonight the first act was from the Netherlands. And the presenters said they were from Holland and the other host corrected him. |

I only want to go eindhoven as my favourite Football team from Holland is SBV Eindhoven Letting the Holland issue aside, don’t you mean PSV Eindhoven? Or maybe FC Eindhoven if you’re that deep into football knowledge |

A Luxembourg return is the most likely (still unlikely) since they initially withdrew.
Anne Marie-David called for the country to return as well as fanmade petitions being sent to RTL.
What do you lot think on the matter?

I like how Luxembourg says stuff like "smaller nations could not succeed in modern Eurovision" yet countries like Iceland, San Marino, or Malta all qualified this year and all have a smaller population than Luxembourg lol

I hope maastricht wins. It would be nice to have it in a smaller city (no disrespect to Rotherham or amersterdam) I did want hanger 13 arnhem to win but maastricht seems good and nostalgic

Which is a real pity in my opinion, obviously |
