For the first time I watched Lithuania's NF due to the high quality of the songs overall and I don't regret it at all! It was very clear the decision would be between The Roop and Monique but I am happy that this won!
The most entertaining song and performance so far in this year's Eurovision and it really feels like it came from the same country of "We Are The Winners" and "Eastern European Funk", even tough it feels more serious and artsy than any of the previous ones.

Monique would've been much better Agree about this. Well I thought that The Roop will not own the big stage, but when I saw their final performance they change my mind. For me it's between - (Voted for 8 because I'd like to see Monique represent more). I actually like the vibe, really cool song, definitely a grower. I also thought there is a chance that they won't be qualified (I mean they are in the 1st sf) but look at the likes on youtube I think they can make it (Or maybe they will be Conan 2.0) Still believe that Monique would have been easily in the top 10.But you know what... everything is possible. So, Good luck!

Honestly I'm going straight to the for Lithuania. It's a cute song and really catchy. I particularly like the snap-along beat. Not sure on what to do with the music video and the live staging, however. Definitely an improvement from last year in probably every way possible imo. All in all, it's funny how my opinions on the entries from Lithuania are good / bad in turns.

I am very happy to give my very first of the year to Lithuania. Fusedmarc has nothing on The Roop. I get the comparison because both have that unconventional sound. However, The Roop executes that unconventional sound much better than Fusedmarc could ever aspire to. The song is slick, funky, and radio-friendly, while the performance has that signature Eurovision weirdness that Lithuania embraces. Performance-wise, it's 2006 but with a lot more finesse and polish. And can we talk about that choreography? I can already follow along to it. This is the kind of sound would be really cool to watch and listen to in Rotterdam. It's ahead enough of this year's music trend that it is ready to be accepted, but not so ahead that it's considered too unusual. The biggest surprise for me was when it was revealed to be the juries' favorite. I'm really excited with how the rest of Europe will react to this, but right now, this is firmly in my top spot. This is the best song Lithuania has ever submitted. I am rooting for Lithuania to reach their best result.
