 Me watching the recap: "Interesting voices... Waiting for the epic chorus... Wait? That's all?  "  I didn't expect this one to get through but it's OK.  My personal #1 hit of 2019 so when I saw it, I was pretty sure there was only one spot left.  Sorry, sounds very messy.  A big robbery but unfortunately many players don't like this kind of songs and they are often heavily underrated.  Not a bad song, but the "sparkle" was missing.  Quite a good song, but perhaps not the best part in the recap.  That was extremely weird. Other countries have the excuse of the tiny size of their music industry but this is clearly not the case of Finland. About my own results: I'm not responsible for the big fail of Latvia last edition, but I had to face the consequences. Withdrawing was not an option, and will never be an option for me. With a PQR in hardcore mode (only 2 songs out of 9 qualified), I was sure of one thing: whatever I would send, I would be an outsider against countries with massive music industries. I was also aware that I have to keep Latvia at least three editions so the option of switching before edition #31 in order to avoid the PQR if I completely mess up next edition is not available. So the purpose of my selection this edition was mainly to test some artists that were never used before - that will be useful for next editions - and the main goal was not to get through the PQR but to have a decent entry for OGAN and to build the future. I'm not disappointed by Patrisha's result, she already showed that she was already able to beat confirmed artists despite her young age (18). She's still in her ramp up phase and she hasn't reaches her full potential yet. She didn't knocked me down like  Luna Melis at first listening but she can grow and maybe one day in a discussion, somebody will ask: "Do you remember the time when Patrisha failed in PQR?". From what I've seen so far, the Latvian music industry is larger than expected so my mandate won't be too frustrating. I'm probably going to explore rock, folk or country music and not only pop and it should be an interesting journey.. |

First of all I wasn't following this too much. Monaco was somewhat expected to make it, but Hungary definitely not. I thought it was going to be Finland, but congrats to the actual qualifiers then. |

Probably better than me in the first 15 editions  I pretty much overused the same artists but I was kind of scared to step out of my confort zone and test out artists and songs, although my selections usually had newcomers in them some bigger names always slipped in. But then again Aminata flopped in NVSC first and them became great. Aand I can confirm that Latvia has a bigger music industry than expected.. But personally I could barely tolerate most songs that I found and I wasn't sure if they would do good and as I mentioned before I was scared to test (after the flop of "Tits" I probably gave up going out of my own music taste).. So all in all I wish you good luck. I actually had a lot of fun with Latvia back then.  |

late reaction lmao but oop, contrary to everyone's opinion i LOVED this PQR so well that was hard and sad at the same time  B O P  I couldn't see this getting through but it really bops so oop This is great I guess but idk, shocked and happy at the same time that it qualified, well done! Y A S S S S S S S this is a HUGE bop and I'm so fucking happy it got through  ok lol I LOVE THIS sfkejoifajow a masterpiece this is really good but yeah it gets lost :/ well this was my  a real BOP which obviously got lost meh I didn't like this while voting but it keeps growing on me everytime I listen to it and I really like it now </3 a really good song which i guess stood no chance but still eh love it OKAY howwwwww did this fail yall are high af cos this BANGS |
