WWW Song Contest #75

I didn't write a prediction post myself, but if I did, would've definitely been very high up there. And apparently I was correct so congrats to for the win!
Being honest looking at the country's (respectively player's) history in here it's quite a shock and lookdsl ike it's coming out of nowhere lol.

Well that's a shock I thought it was going to be hardly in top 15, but I'm happy my managed to get 2nd place.

Personally I really didn't care for this entry and if I'm being honest I can't remember anything about it.  Imo quite a surprise top 3, but also a bit overrated.


It was an exciting voting, but I'm unfortunately a bit disappointed by the outcome and not too much into the final top 10:

These were all songs I didn't care about (and except Australia weren't expected in top 10) and I find a bit overrated...
I'm honestly still surprised by the fact that Indila made a song like that. It's okay, but Idk how to feel about it reaching the top 5.
I had a little issue with this song. And that's the chorus which (kind of) turned me off and was also the the reason why I put it low. :/
I've to admit that I somehow managed to not listen to this at all (guess I added a wrong song to the playlist...). However judging from the recap it's definitely not for me anyway. And tbh. it kinda sounds to me like his having a giant voice crack for the whole 30 seconds... :/ Although I find it very overrated, congrats for the first top 10 ranking in a while.
Now that song however, was such a revelation. I'm happy seeing this in top 10, but for me it definitely could've also placed a little higher.

All in all I unfortunately voted for only 3 songs that made the top 10. Luckily they're all coming from my top 4.


Some short comments on a few songs that ended up lower:

I expected this to end up around 15th. I'm happy seeing myself proven wrong.
Considering that it felt like this was out of the top 15 for the whole thing, it's a pleasant surprise seeing her having ended up in 12th place. Marija'd have definitely deserved that top 10, but I guess since it's a Eurovision reject it fell out.
I'm sorry, but I really didn't like this song (and especially her voice). :/ It quite got what it deserved though.
It's a really interesting song, but I preferred a few others that's why she, in the end, didn't make my top 10.
Being honest after listening this I really debated 12ing this since it was such a beautiful song. Seeing it now just outside the bottom 5 is shocking.
Although I liked this song a lot, it's never expected to get much higher than it eventually did. That's also why it was amazing when it got to the left side for a second.
This entry had quite some potential (I mean you don't just get 3x for example ), which it unfortunately couldn't take advantage of. That bottom 3 outcome isn't deserved at all. I also loved when it actually got the from USA.
Guess in many other contests it'd have succeeded. Personally I'm not really sad about its result because for me it was a bit too aggressive (?).
Kurt shouldn't have ended up last place. But I understand why it did since I enjoyed it in the semi, but then in the final it fell quite flat... Also is it just me hearing some Sean Paul song out of this in the chorus?

13th place in the semi! Well... No just kidding, I'm not really sad about it. I mean it's not like I wrote a couple of times before that I was so going to be eliminated. Still thanks a lot to the voters for 47 points.
