 HWAESONNA CONFIRMS FTStv can now confirm that  Hwaesonna will be present in the 18th edition, regardless of the winner of the current edition. The broadcaster has also confirmed that the 3rd edition of The Hwae Home will be held for the 18th edition, following the success of the previous winner of the selection, Canine, placing 5th in the 16th edition. The selection will begin in the upcoming week.

WOLF ALICE
Wolf Alice are a four-piece Everish-Ruyjinese rock band, formed in Crystalfall initially in 2010, but have been in their present state since 2012. The current members of Wolf Alice are Ellie Rowsell (vocals, guitar), Joff Oddie (guitars, vocals), Theo Ellis (bass) and Joel Amey (drums, vocals).
Ellie Rowsell has already participated for Evergreen as a featured vocalist on alt-J's "3WW", but Wolf Alice as a collective have yet to participate for Evergreen, despite several attempts to do so since Ellie's first participation in #10. Wolf Alice made it to gold finals of Melody Evergreen in #11, #13 and #17, but were eventually not picked. They also participated in Melody Evergreen #14, prior to the cancellation of the selection.
Another special edition of Melody Evergreen will be held to determine Wolf Alice's entry. More information soon!

In an extremely tense national final, full of twists and turns in the results, a winner has finally emerged in EDGÉ's most competitive rendition yet - hence Achróa has its eighteenth entry.
In the first round of EDGÉ, the top three songs all passed to the final round with the winner receiving 15 votes, and the two runners-up receiving 14 votes. The second round, as a result, was expected to be very competitive as well - but it ended up being more competitive than expected. At one point towards the end, two songs were tied, but a final flurry of votes solved the tie and now we have a definite winner, by just one vote.The spoiler below reveals what song Achróa will send to the eighteenth edition:IN THE DEEP TIME MY DEAR ONE //

Pangaea Girls (Magic Feeling)

Candy Claws is an Achróan dream pop group formed in Trangueli. It was formed in 2007 by Kay Bertholf and Ryan Hover, who shared interests in "electronics, droning shoegaze rock, and classic psychedelic pop."
In 2009, the band released their debut album, In the Dream of the Sea Life, which was inspired by Rachel Carson's book The Sea Around Us. Originally released by the Wave Magic label, it earned enthusiastic reviews from the international music press. In 2010, Twosyllable Records released the band's follow-up album, Hidden Lands, which was inspired by Richard M. Ketchum's The Secret Life of the Forest. During this time, Candy Claws also assembled an expanded eight-piece touring band for live performances. The band's third and most acclaimed album, Ceres & Calypso in the Deep Time, was released in 2013.
Candy Claws tried to participate for Achróa through EDGÉ before, in edition 14, with their song Fell in Love (At the Water). At just 3 minutes and 11 seconds, Pangaea Girls (Magic Feeling) is Achróa's second-shortest entry, second only to Come Find Me (#3) which was a few seconds shorter.

We can now proudly confirm that Frootania will be present in the upcoming edition, with a new broadcaster, enabling the country to continue their participation furthermore with no foreseeable interruptions to come! Despite placing last in the final, the country has registered themselves with the new broadcaster TL:DR, a project approved by the communist government to display international events like the Fantasia Contest.
