Listening to all 10 of these to see what I think:
Augun þín: Pretty sweet if maybe a little basic, I reckon this could be a borderline qualifier at ESC - I love it though
Gagnamagnið: This sounds an awful lot like his Aramótaskaup song from 2017, and I love it so much! This with some wild staging could do very well
Almyrkvi: Very interesting pick here. It's alright, but its very hard to do well with metal at Eurovision - AWS struggled and they were AMAZING.
Elta þig: I'm not a fan of this song at all if I'm honest, it just feels incredibly flat.
Fellibylur: Ever wanted to hear an Icelandic budget Bond Theme? Well here is an Icelandic Bond Theme. Would make Sennek's flop look impressive.
Oculis Videre: Okay WOW. This is something. Very traditional and majestic. I never expected to see this in Söngvakeppnin!
Klukkan tifar: This could do very well in ESC actually, their voices are so beauitful in harmony. It's classic ballad and I love it.
Ævintýri: I want to hear this live. It's the kind of music my basic ass loves, though this at Eurovision may not be suitable
Dreyma: Nice to see Matthías Matthíasson back, what a beautiful voice and song - My only fear is it would go the way of Ari.
Ekkó: This is the most "typical Eurofan" song of the selection. I like it and it could do alright but I don't think its the best one.
Personally I really hope for Daði Freyr or Iva to win, though Helga & Ísold or Nína would also be a good choice

I'd say generally Matti Matt and Elísabet are somewhat well known (Matti was the singing voice of Sportacus in Lazy Town if you didn't know), Hildur Vala won some singing competition a long while back but I wouldn't say she is huge. I believe Dimma are very big within the European metal scene but honestly I'd say the most famous has to be Daði Freyr, he blew up after Söngvakeppnin 2017 and I still sometimes hear "Hvað með það" on the radio occasionally.

Okay, Iceland fucking snapped. I always love Songvakeppnin, but Iceland outdid themselves this year. In my ratings from 1-10, the average here is an 8.8. I'm just at a loss for words. Provided none of the two I am not so fond of wins, I will be hella happy stream Oculis Videre and Ekkó cowards

Semi 1 is honestly quite weak. Just having Occulis Videre and Ekkó in one semi was wack on their part

Okay so I didn't watch the semi live tonight but I have watched over the qualifier songs:
Klukkan tifar - Now this live was AMAZING. Those harmonies were incredible and the song gave me goosebumps - So happy these qualified
Almyrkvi - Now this was performed very well but I can't see why it was voted over the NQ songs, its good but not a genre that will do well at all
As for the others, I expect Augun þín will snag the wildcard spot, Elta þig was good but personally I am really sad for Kid Isak and Ævintýri - He had such a fun dance song (written by two of my favourite rappers, JóiPé and Króli - check them out people!!!) and performed it well, deserved better 100%
