Hello Europe and beyond! Welcome to Maštefestival 30, the very first edition of the brand new
national selection format used to select
Montenegro's entry for the North
Vision Song Contest.
How will it work?
Nine Montenegrin songs, plus one foreign act, have been chosen to compete against each other
in one grand final for the right to represent Montenegro in NVSC 30. The winner of this selection will be determined
by...
1. THE JURIES
Applications are officially open for any NVSC HoD (or Co-HoD with permission) to become a jury country in this
selection. The number of spaces is not yet determined and will depend on how many applications we get, but
let's say for now that there are 15. These will be decided at random from those who have applied next weekend
(Saturday 12th October), when the recap will also be put up and voting will begin.
The juries will make up 50% of the results, ranking all of the songs in usual NVSC format (12, 10, 8-1). They will
hopefully be revealed via a scoreboardif I can figure out how to make a proper full scoreboard in time for this
edition, so juries are invited to send a spokesperson + speech alongside their votes, though this is not obligatory
and if you don't send one I'll choose one.
2. THE TELEVOTE
EVERYONE is invited to vote as part of the televote, which will consist of a poll that will be put up on Saturday 12th
October. You will get a chance to score each song out of 10, and the points will be distributed proportionately to make
the other 50% of the results.
The jury and the televote scores will both be combined, and then we will have our winner!
THE ARTISTS
The actual artists themselves will be properly revealed next weekend, but for now, we have put together a picture of the
ten participating artists. How many do you recognise?
