You can confirm for the next edition now!
All entries, regardless of whether they are selected internally or through a national selection, must be sent to the three responsible council members for approval. You need all three yeses in order for your entry to be fully approved.
For this edition, please include kev , Syr and Dimitris .
You are only allowed to send a maximum of 2 approval messages. This is so the council can concentrate on things more important than dealing with a minor song change in a national selection, for example. If you send a third approval message (unless asked by the council to do so), we will not reply to it, and your new songs will not be considered. If, after 24 hours, you have not received a single 'yes' for your entry, feel free to remind the responsible council members.
Effective as of edition #17, the number of songs that can be sent for approval as part of a national selection is capped at 20 - this is to lower the likelihood of songs being sent for 2+ countries, and also because no one in the council wants to put 50 songs in a sheet at once. You may start your national selection as soon as it is approved, and anyone intending on selecting internally can reveal their artist, provided the song choice isn't obvious (i.e don't announce Ashley O if you're sending "On a Roll," which isn't getting approved anyway).
Deadlines:
All countries must confirm by December 15th, 2019.
If you're hosting a national selection, all entries must be sent in by January 5th, 2020.
If you're picking your entry internally, it must be sent in by January 12th, 2020
All entries must be posted by January 15th, 2020
All times are 23:59 CET unless otherwise stated.
Failure to abide with any of the above conditions is likely to result in a warning.
