58/60 entries
Thank you Brazil,  Lithuania, and  Moldova for joining us, bringing the number of participants up to 58. That means in two of the semifinals, two of the AQ countries will vote in two different semifinals.
 Ireland is technically free (though I expect William to take it back next edition). I have not decided on the fate of the other countries yet ( Monaco,  Colombia,  Iceland,  Serbia,  Turkmenistan). Maybe they could do a little persuading before I make up my mind, so if they're committed, I don't need to tag them.
I have a lot of things going on this month, but enough that I can still do this. From this point forward (and in future editions), deadlines are going to be the deadlines. Failure to vote by the deadline without making any valid excuses beforehand will mean a strike and/or possible disqualification.
We will get working on the semifinals recaps and running orders for your convenience. Stay tuned!
To tell you the truth, I've been secretly getting fed up with having to extend deadlines in the past (you know who you are). It's always so tempting to do this, but now I need to stop and take better control of my contest. On top of that, I've had to take up more responsibilities in my real life, so I can't waste my time granting extensions anymore, since I need to make time to make/edit videos and such.

I'm a little confused, are we still allowed to post an entry or not?  I mean, Brazil was told they were late but later they actually joined the edition, so I don't know anymore  By the earlier post I just assumed I was completely missing the edition. Guess I'll just post my entry just in case, instead of making assumptions  Myahri - Men bagtly gyzyn

I should've specified and said more explicitly that confirmations are closed, but it was already over 24 hours after the deadline, so I wasn't going to accept any more entries at that point. I'll make sure to make the deadlines are set in stone in the future and avoid any more extensions no matter the BS.  The confirmation period has always lasted one week, typically at the beginning of the month. It's been like this for a long while now.
With that said, I won't accept this entry. |
