Olympiad Song Contest #50 [Grand Final Results]

Well, what the heck

It's been long since I won a contest so I don't even know how to do this aaaaaah

I wasn't expecting this at all, like none of this, even after the first two parts I was just rooting for Mexico to win over the others that were closer, and suddenly I climbed all the way up to be the one to rob its victory Now, we're talking about robbing the first victory to my home country in this contest, so yeah it's a bunch of mixed emotions. Even the way the results turned out, how Mexico was leading during the entirity of the voting til' the very last set of points was a little difficult to watch

I debuted in this contest back in January of 2016 (sending Saara Aalto for Finland ), since then I had never really gotten any close chance to be in the top spots, if I remember correctly I hadn't AQ'd either, so after more than 4 years since I joined the contest I finally get a victory, so it feels awesome to win after such a long wait
Heal Me is my favorite song from Grace Carter and personally I love the song and think it's a true masterpiece, so it's very meaningful that you also liked this song so much Thank you very much for every single point you gave me, it's greatly appreciated

Also thanks to Llemian for another amazing edition and for keeping this contest going And also thanks for the mini heart attack you gave me at the end of the results If I suddenly get gastritis again I'lh have to blame you for putting me through such strong emotions   

I'm glad I'm keeping UK for one more edition, a very big portion of my playlists comes from there so I have a lot to select my song from
